Marinette's POV

Adrien.

Adrien Agreste.

That was his name-

"Hey!" He motioned for me to get in the car with explosions all around us.

Everything had happened so fast- I mean at first- but- then- and then-

The hand that grabbed around my waist and pushed me away- it was-

I really can't talk today can I?

Adrien Agreste.

The model-

It felt unreal that I was meeting him in person, but the way his green eyes just-

"Are you coming!?" He said urgently, the akuma attack was still going on.

I was snapped back into reality. He was motioning me to hide with him in what I assumed was his limo- but- something was wrong.

I still needed to transform into Ladybug.

"ER-NO-NO THANK YOU- THANKS THOUGH!" I laughed loudly.

Jesus- why was I acting so weird and why was I so loud.

I saw his golden eyebrows furrow for a minute, "WHAT ARE YOU CRAZY- YOU NEED A PLACE TO TAKE SHELTER AND-AND MY QUESTION ABOUT GETTING IN MY CAR WAS RHETORICAL-"

"Well-" I said trying to make an excuse in my head-

"My mom said I'm not allowed to get in a stranger's car- BYE!"

And with that I ran away-

I felt my heart race up as I ran- and then it hit me.

Did I really just say that?

I felt my heart go heavy in humiliation.

"My mom told me not to go into stranger's cars?! Really?!" I muttered under my breath, mentally cursing myself.

Tikki poked her head out of my bag with an urgent look in her eyes, "Forget about the interaction Marinette- Chat Noir needs our help! Not to mention Paris!"

I nodded turning the corner into an alley, "TIKKI SPO-"

"MARINETTE!"

I froze and turned around to see Chat Noir.

Shit.

Chat Noir's/Luka POV

What was she doing out here?!? And where was Ladybug?!?

I felt my chest tighten- she shouldn't be here. She should be in her house. Safe and sound.

I nodded to myself, making her my top priority.

Wrapping my arms around her, she gave a tiny squeak before looking up at me with- anger?

"HEY- what are you doing?!? I still need to transform-ER I MEAN- TRY AND GET SITUATED IN A FORM THAT UH- fits me best? Before you take off."

I looked at her for a second before tilting his head, "wait what the hell are you talking about?"

Suddenly, before she could respond, the ground shook beneath us, and a bomb went off.
