The person's breathing calmed and their grip slowly began to release.

Marinette shivered nervously as the she could feel the warmth of the person's breath on the back of her neck.

The person seemed to be towering above her. All of a suddenly locks and curls began to tickle Marinette's shoulders. The "kidnapper" had rested their head on top of Marinette's shoulder.

The anonymous person almost seemed drained, so Marinette took an advantage to turn round.

She slowly placed her hand on the alleyway's walls and carefully twisted her body round.

The blue head's eyes widened as she recognised the glum face of the person in front of her.

His eyes sore from possible stress and no sleep. His bed head still in place with a hint of messiness. His crumpled clothes falling delicately over his torso. His body and expressions lacked life and his eyes were filled with sadness. He raised his face to look directly at Marinette enabling her to see how broken and dejected he looked.

'Why?' He croaked.

Marinette didn't know how to respond. She simply looked away not out of spite, but out of guilt.

The boy maintained a stare, fixating his gaze at the small girl who was clearly stuck between telling the truth or giving an excuse.

'No excuses' He continued filling in the gap of silence.

Marinette still in a daze did not know how respond to him. Her eyes were beginning to brim with tears so she, instead of taking the right path in telling the truth, decided to run.

To Run away from him. To Run away from her fears of the truth. To Run away from the person who she was milimetres away from opening up to completely.

Her pace increased as she almost reached the ending of the alleyway. Guilty tears streaming from her disheartened, bluebell eyes.

Before she could make a full on run for it, for a second time he grabbed her wrist and pulled her back into the alleyway, this time pinning her against the wall. Her hands placed above her head and their faces inches away.
