'Hey Luka thanks for meeting me today, I really needed to clear my head' Marinette smiled warmly at her fellow rockstar friend.

'Oh no problem, anything for you... it must have been very hard seeing what you saw.' Luka said, with a sad comforting tone.

Luka leant on Marinette whilst they shared one of Andre's special ice-creams made just for them. It was blueberry and black berry flavoured and the taste was rather strange and didn't quite fit together, but it was still rather delicious.

'Yeah you know what, it was pretty hard... but it opened my eyes. It made me realise how unhealthy it was to evolve my life around one guy. I mean of course my...how can we describe it...obsession died down after a year or two and we then became really close this past year and my confidence raised... but I still had him on my mind constantly. It was bad for me and bad for the people I surrounded myself with.' Marinette replied smiling kindly up at Luka.

'You know I want you to be happy Marinette... I will always wait for you, but if you genuinely like him... maybe ignoring the situation is an even worser choice than trying to move on. Have you not spoken to him since Alya's birthday?' Luka asked politely.

Luka had to remain selfless and put the girl he cared so much for first before his own feelings. If she still liked Adrien what benefit or advantage would he get from dating her. It wouldn't be a genuine relationship and he would just end up hurting himself... so he thought it would be best to help her find her own happiness even if it meant loosing his own.

'I uh kinda isolated myself for a few weeks from everyone... sorry I barely responded. I was just hurt, but yeah I have spoken to him' Marinette rubbed the back of her neck, because she didn't exactly talk very thoroughly with him... she more so yelled a confession and ran away from the problem.

'I actually kind of whacked a confession in his face... and may have ran away. He didn't even get time to explain himself to me... ugh I'm so awful!' Marinette complained.

'If I was him... I wouldn't want to loose a friend, especially a friend like you. I say get that confidence back Marinette. Pull out some lipgloss or whatever girls do to boost their egos and let him know what you want. Also allow him to talk to you too... he's probably wanting to speak to you' Luka smiled weakly, finding it incredibly hard to let the girl he loved so much go towards another guy. Luka gently squeezed Marinette's arm encouraging her to get out from the depths of her misery.

'Thanks Luka, you're right I do need to get full closure and not shove this problem to the back of my mind. I'm just scared about the truth you know...' Marinette replied smiling brightly at her lovely, kind friend.

Marinette closed her eyes and leant against Luka, raising her face towards the light, absorbing the suns warm, welcoming rays.

Luka looked down at his adorable, blueheaded friend. He smiled in awe as he enjoyed the company of the person he really did love.
