Marinette woke up from the depths of her bed with a pain in her head which she did not recognise.

It did not feel like a simple head ache which strikes the average person a few times a month...

It felt like a mind filled with too much love and affection - if it was even possible.

Her mind felt dizzy and faint, but in a good way. She had spent the whole day with adrien and half of it being mostly in his harms. She felt so safe and protected. It was a familiar feeling, but she decided to let the idea of her partner and her crush being one of the same person fade since it just wasn't convenient.

Usually marinette wasn't a morning person, she would have usually been dragged out of bed by her mother's continuous groans for her to get up... but something was different. She woke up bright, happy and eager to start the first full day of the holidays.

She got out of bed smiling to herself remembering the amazing finish to school they had yesterday. She decided to day would be a day to herself. A day for her to recover, enjoy and to relax for the hard full on year she had. Whether it was fighting Akuma attacks or studying extra hard for exams.

Living the double life wasn't easy. It took so much from her civilian life. Having to lie to friends and family was awful, but at the end of the day it was for her and their safety.

Marinette decided to take this one day. One day where she could breathe. Be herself and just enjoy it whilst it lasted. Of course she knew she wasn't 100% sure she would be completely free, but she decided to take advantage of what seemed to be a beautiful sunny day.

She got dressed into a baby pink velvet jumper dress which fitted perfect revealing a few curves, but nonetheless very fashionable. She tied her silky , Raven hair into a long plait, but then decided it needed a change. She didn't need to be practical today. She could let her beautiful hair flow with the wind today.

She released her hair from its tied position, which then showed the beautiful locks swaying carefully by the sides of her face. She looked stunning with her hair down. She looked at her self in quite a shocked manor, because she didn't quite realise how grown up she looked with her hair down. She had always wore her iconic pig tails, but now she finally realised how much better she looked with her hair down.

Marinette wasn't vain at all. In fact she was very insecure, but now realising she wasn't ugly. She wasn't disgusting. She looked at herself for the first time in a long time and realised she looked mature. She looked more like a lady. Being 17 she should look like this. She decided she liked this look and would only wear her hair in pigtails if it was necessary.

She applied a light shade of pink to match her clothes and added a little mascara to her already long lashes to make her eyes stand out just a little more.
