Reckt sat there with us and watched us get treated for anything. We knew we were fine though, but all that was running through my mind was that prisoner. It was something I definitely needed to run by 304 when we get out of here. Him, and only him. We assured Reckt that we were perfectly fine which got her and Dynam to leave the room for a second so I could talk to 304. As soon as they left the room 304 unwrapped some bandages that were wrapped around his arms.

"Did you see that!?" I begin to freak out as he wonders what on Detnar I'm talking about.

"Woah, woah, woah, calm down! What are you going on about?" He asked me, patiently waiting for an answer as I slow down my breathing.

"I was looking at the cameras and there's a hidden cell! In the security center! There's only one person in there. Who is it?"

By the looks of it, 304 knew exactly what I was talking about but refused to answer as it must have been top secret. But if he deserved to know then I deserved to know as well.

"You know who it is, don't you?" I asked him, staring at him, putting pressure on him.

He broke eye contact with me, "We're not supposed to talk about him." He said briefly.

"304! We have to tell each other everything we know if want a chance to survive in here. We have each other and that's it."

He stopped me and replied, "What about Dynam? Or Reckt? It seems like you've become majorly close with them the past few days."

I couldn't help but understand where he was coming from. I was his only friend in this whole place, I saved his life in the beginning, and he just saved mine moments ago. I knew he was for real and I couldn't let him slip away. I needed him by my side.

"Listen, 304, I know it seems like I'm kinda going my own way here. However, I'm doing it for my own good. OUR own good. The closer we are with them, the less likely anyone will want to come at us. We're safer this way."

And that's when he lost it.

"Safe!? Safe!? Don't talk to me about safe! We are in a prison, so let me ask you something. When is safe, enough? Don't you get it? We're in here for the rest of our lives. There is no hope for us, for you, or anyone else in here. We're all dead men. It doesn't matter whether I kill you, you kill me, you kill Reckt, Dynam kills me, it doesn't matter. Because in the end, we all die and new prisoners come take our place. We will be forgotten like the rest."

"That's not true."

"It isn't? Name one person that used to be in this prison. You can't. Because you have no idea what things were like, how people were like, and who people were before you even showed up. You don't even know my name. I don't even know yours. Some friends we are."

What 304 said hit me like a ticking time bomb slowly going off in my chest and it finally just blew up. In some manner, he was right. I didn't know who he was, nor did he know of I. It was something that needed to be settled soon, because how could we really count on each other if we had no idea who we were.

"No one knows his real name, but he's the guy everyone wants to meet. Prisoner number 5 dash 0 dash 0."

I stopped him there, "Wait, are you telling me, this guy has a criminal rating of 500? The highest recorded rating there is?"

"That's what I'm saying."

"Okay, then explain to me this. This whole prison contains numerous crime ratings. All the way from two hundred and one, to five hundred. Why does he receive more of a lock down then we do. What are they preventing, by keeping him locked in that room?"

"I really don't know. There are thousands of theories. Everyone in the prison knows about him, but no one knows why he's so famous or why he's such big threat. Some say he's Reckt's father who knows all the secrets of the prison, that's why she can't keep him locked up in the prison. Others say he hacked into his criminal rating and can reverse it when he wants. Some even say-"

"Okay 304, I get it. Crazy theories that may or may not be true. How do I talk to the guy?"

"Are you kidding me!? Only one person goes into that room and they're not even allowed to make eye contact with him. One of the guards brings him food every day and hand feeds it to him like a baby. Could you imagine what that would be like? The same exact spot for years on end. I would go insane. Who knows, maybe he already has."

Reckt returned with Dynam and decided to escort us back to our cells individually. Reckt took me, Dynam took 304. On the long walk, Reckt decided to start a conversation.

"How are you liking it here at ECO SEC?" She asked like it was just the most amazing place ever.

"I don't know. What's there to like about it? I can't be any where else so I don't really have a choice of liking it when it's the best I'm gonna get."

"True, true." She said before stopping at my cell, "Listen, now that the Benjamin Bros are gone, I suspect to see you at the cafeteria bright and early for your shift."

"I'll be there." I murmured to her as my cell swung shut, locked, and left me in the darkness to sleep. I think that was the first night I actually wasn't worrying about anything. No, not worrying. Thinking though. Thinking about what my daughter might be doing right now.
