I heard my cell door close like they were locking themselves in here with me. I didn't have a very good chance of surviving this. I backed up all the way into a corner and slouched down to my knees and tried to squint my eyes, hoping I could get one bit of vision to see where they were. I could hear them breathing not even a foot away but I didn't know where they were.
A flashing light disturbed us and lit the room up, we all stopped and looked to the outside. It was a warning. Guards stormed through the halls along with Dynam and Reckt.
"Benjamin Bros! Where the hell are you!" Reckt screamed racing down the hallway.
I wanted to scream and alert them that they were here but one of the brothers grabbed my mouth and held it shut. This was my only chance! I bit down as hard as I could, not long after drawing blood and a screech of pain from him which sounded Reckt and Dynam.
"You son of a bi-"
"You two!" Reckt screamed through the cell door, "As of right now, your alliance with us is officially terminated!"
One of the brothers grabbed my neck and held me against the wall, letting my feet dangle and making me gasp for air but I wasn't getting any.
"So that means we can kill the bastard right? That's what I'm thinking." The grip got stronger and my face was turning red and soon to be purple when I heard two gunshots and quickly fell to the concrete floor. Right when this happened, I knew for a fact that the Benjamin Bros were dead, but who killed them? I looked up from the ground, my vision all blurry from lack of oxygen but I saw. 304. He stood behind Reckt and when he noticed things got out of hand, he stole her gun from her holster and shot both of them right in the head. Thank god for him. Once again out of the many other times, I was starting to doubt my relationship with Reckt and Dynam. They knew for a fact that the Benjamin Bros would kill me if they got the chance, and they had that chance. They didn't take the shot. 304 did.
The rest of the guards in my cell who were "helping" the Benjamin Bros were fired immediately and shipped off to a lesser priority prison. I was pulled out of the cell by Dynam as Reckt, 304, and many other guards gathered around me.
"There's no more bounty." Dynam told me.
"How?" I asked him.
"No one is going to kill you knowing The Benjamin Bros are out of the picture. There's no one to pay the DigiSEC's."
I nodded and smiled, my neck was sore and I was sure it was going to leave a bruise but I would pull through. I stood up to my own feet and gave 304 a hug for saving my life. He laughed and spoke the words, "Never on my watch brother." I laughed and agreed. "Same here." I told him.
"God, ever since you came to this place everything has been bat shit crazy." Reckt informed me.
"Well it's not my fault everyone wants to kill me." I said becoming hostile towards her.
"Relax! It wasn't an insult. Now we're gonna take both of you into the security center and get you fixed up." She told us.
"Aw! Come on! I just got out of there." 304 yelled and we all chuckled.
"We need to make sure you don't have any traumatization." She explained and walked us down the hall as each light turned off every step we took, all the way until we got there.
Reckt unlocked the door and walked us all in. I've been in here three times and I really haven't been observant. I figured this time I should. We walked past the medical center, the armory, both of which I could not access even if I tried. Then there was the security cameras, I walked slowly passed them looking at each screen. It all seemed correct except for one. Two cameras in the rec center, two cameras in the cafeteria, eight cameras through out the halls, some were looking into random cells. And then a camera from a place I haven't seen before. Inside of a jail cell but it wasn't any jail cell I have seen before. The room was pitch black so the camera had night vision in order to see. It was a super small room only enough to fit one prisoner which it did. One person, standing in the center of the room, arms chained up to each wall and feet chained up to the floor. Electric shock collar around his neck and turrets inside the walls. I kept on walking.
We reached a back room where Reckt sat each and every one of us down and checked our heart rates, our adrenaline status, and a mixture of other random stuff. I felt fine now, but at the moment, I couldn't stop thinking about who was in that secret cell. And what was so important about him?
