Nora's POV

"Why did you think he was a thief?" Ari asked me. And I looked at him. Before averting my gaze back to Aria.

"Oh maybe because he pointed a gun at me, I didn't know what else to think of." I said and Aria turned towards him, who had his jaw clenched and eyes tightly closed as if a small kid who was caught stealing cookies.

"What gun, Aiden? What gun is Nora talking about?" Aria asked, in a low tone. I felt confused as to why she is getting so pressed about.

"Aria...." Aiden trailed off. "What Aiden?!" Aria yelled at him. "Explain." She said, after calming herself. And Aiden was looking everywhere but her. "I'm waiting Aiden King." She exclaimed after a while when Aiden still hadn't said anything.

"It's a licensed gun." He said after a while.

"Oh really? And what about yesterday when Ashton was asking you if you wanted a licensed gun and you said you don't need it, and don't tell me you bought one now, if you did, why did it take so long for you to answer my question." She said and crossed her arms.

Aiden sighed. "It's Kio's gun." He said.

"My gun?"

"Your gun?"

I heard two voices from behind me. I turned around to see two men, of around the same age, one holding a cute little girl in his arms.

"Ugh"

"Ugh"

They spoke at the same time, again and this time, the man with the little girl groaned and said.
"Stop speaking at the same time as me. And since when did you have a gun?" He asked, supposedly Kio.

"Exactly what I wanted to say." Then he turned towards Aiden. "And ask? Since when did I have a gun?" He completed and I heard Aiden groan.

"Aiden what've you been doing?" Aria asked him. He bit his lip and hung his head low. Then he looked up and towards me and I averted my gaze away from him.

"I don't want to talk in front of strangers." He said, stressing on the word ' strangers '.

I looked up and saw everyone looking at me. I heard an ' ouch ' from Aiden to see him holding his head. "She's my friend you idiot, don't speak to her that way." Aria said and the men chuckled.

The man with the little girl walked towards me and said. "Here, will you take care of my baby, while we sort all this out, why don't you spend some time with her?" And gently smiled, pointing towards the little girl.

I smiled back and nodded, "Of course." And smiled at the little girl which she instantly returned. She got down from his arms and held my hand tightly to which my heart melted. I looked at Aria to see her smiling at me warmly.

"I'll wait" I mouthed at her and she nodded. I left the corridor and into a room which maybe was a guest room since there were no clothes or belongings in the open wardrobe.
