Not So Perfect

Aiden's POV

I had gone behind Nora, trying to stop her when she was going down. But she was gone.

I wanted to follow her but I realised I forgot my keys up in the cabin.

"Fuck" I exclaimed, hitting the wall beside me.

"Aide?" I heard Aria behind me.

"What's wrong with you?" She yelled at me, taking my fist in her hands. "Are you crazy?"

I couldn't focus on anything right now, I jerked my hand away from hers and ran up to my cabin.

"Aiden stop" She was running after me.

I sat on the couch and Aria sat beside me.

"Aide, what happened?" Aria asked again and I just looked at her.

"Aria.. I.. I messed up-" I cracked a sob. I couldn't control myself.

"Aiden." She whispered, scooting closer. I placed my head on her shoulder, while she soothingly ran her hand on my back.

"I.. I c-can't lose her again Ari. I can't let her go away from me again. I'll die." I managed to let out.

"Aiden, calm down, you're freaking me out. Please tell me what happened." She said.

So I told her. I told her all that happened just a while back.

She gasped. "What?" I nodded at her and just looked around.

"She will never forgive me, will she?" I murmured.

"It's not your fault Aiden. You didn't know. You couldn't hav-" I cut her off.

"I could've. I should've told Ash about what was going on and he would've stopped all of this, and nothing of that sort would've happened." Nora's words roaming in my head, I felt so guilty.

"Nora's parents died. Because of me. Because of my stupid selfish decisions."

"Aide." Aria held my face. "Listen to me." I shook my head but she firmly made me face her.

"It is not your fault." She assured me but nothing was working. It felt like her voice was somewhere far away and I was falling.

"I-I have to go find her Aria.. she just left in a hurry, I need to find her." I was trying to compose myself, but it was not working, making me go more hysteric.

"Aiden, I will find her. You please relax. Okay? Don't worry. She will be alright." She assured me.

"No i- but may-maybe you're right. Maybe she doesn't wanna see my face. She's never going to want to see me. Never again." I whispered, like a mad man.

"I.. I'll go to my place." I told her and stood up to get my keys.

"Aiden you can't drive in this state. Let me call the driver he will drop you." She told me.

"No I'm fine Aria.. it's okay." I ignored her calls and went out of the cabin.

Aria ran behind me and held my hand. "Stop for God's sake Aiden. You cannot drive in this state. I will not let you. Shut up and come with me."

I followed her quietly after that. When we were in the elevator, she turned to me and said "Keys.", holding her hand out. I gave the keys to her.

The driver was already there when we went down.

"Take him to his house. Make sure he goes in safely, alright?" I heard her instructing the driver as I sat in.

"Aiden, it's going to be alright. Okay? I promise." Aria said and I just looked at her with a small begrudging smile.
