Aiden's POV

I quickly ran to her room and went to her side.

She was whimpering in her sleep, murmuring something. God she is having a nightmare.

I softly caressed her hair. "It's okay. it's just a dream." I whispered. Her whimpers subsided as she calmed down. She didn't wake up, but snuggled more to my side and held my arm with both of hers.

My eyes widened, if I move, will she wake up? And then she'll see me here. She might interpret it wrongly.

God.

I will get up when she leaves my arm. I sighed and leaned back to get support from the bedrest.

I looked at her sleeping peacefully. I hate to admit but I missed her. Even after all that happened between us, I never forgot her.

Some part of me is still happy to see her just as it was three years ago.

But again, I get reminded of what she did. I have never loved anyone more than I loved her. And when she betrayed me, I didn't know what to do anymore. For months from that day, it was as if something in me broke and I was malfunctioning.

But years later, I had learned to live without her. And now that she has come back in my life, its like I've entered that phase of my life again where I know nothing, what to do, how to act, absolutely no idea.

My head clouded with all these thoughts, I don't know when I fell asleep.

Nora's POV

I slightly opened my eyes to see someone's arm? on my waist. I squealed as I got up.

"What?" He yelled, trying to open his eyes.

Aiden?

What is he doing here?

Then I remembered all what happened yesterday.

"W...Where am I?" I asked him and then looked around to find a nicely decorated room with a little sunlight from the window.

"Uh.." I looked at Aiden as he got off from the bed.

Oh my god. Did he sleep with me? Here? On the same bed?

"You're in my home, Nora." He said, scratching his neck.

"Oh" I said, looking everywhere.

"Um.. last night you were, I mean you held my hand so I couldn't move and.. I don't know when I fell asleep...." He trailed off and I turned red in embarrassment.

Why would you hold his hand, idiot.

There was, yet again this blanket of awkward silence between us.

"I guess you should freshen up."

"Yeah I should. I.." I immediately got off the bed and stood there.

"Here's your suitcase." He pointed towards it and I nodded. "Thank you." I told him and almost ran off to the bathroom.
