Nora's POV
As soon as I stepped into the room, my gaze went towards the breath-taking sea view from the large wall-sized window, sunlight enough for the whole room to shine bright. A small smile adorned my face as I looked at it.
"You like it?" I heard Aiden speak, as he tilted his head to look at me. My smile vanished, I cleared my throat. I looked at him with a straight face and said. "No I don't."
I walked away to one of the room as I heard him sigh. I locked the door and plopped on the bed, closing my eyes. What am I going to do. He doesn't seem like he's going to give up anytime soon. And I for sure, can't forgive him this soon.
I sighed and turned around closing my eyes, might as well get some sleep.
A knock jolted me awoke from my sleep, I had almost immediately fallen asleep. I went and opened the door to find Aiden, now dressed in a light blue almost see-through shirt and white pants. Fuck he looks good. But I managed to maintain a straight face while raising my brows, asking him why he was here.
"It's lunch time, let's go grab something." He said.
I glanced at the clock to see it was already two in the afternoon. And I was feeling hungry.
I turned back towards Aiden. "I need time to get ready." I told him, as if I was going to take a lot of time.
"Sure, of course, I'll wait, dress casua-" I closed the door on his face.
I know that was rude but.. ugh whatever. He deserves it. Why do I feel guilty after every small thing I do against him?
How must he be feeling? I groaned silently and went to quickly get ready.
After changing into a black t-shirt and blue jeans, I got out of the room to see Aiden sitting on the couch, scrolling on his phone.
"Uhm" I cleared my throat to gain his attention, and immediately looked elsewhere when he looked at me.
"Oh you're here, let's go?" He asked me and I just ignored him and walked ahead.
I heard him sigh.
We went to a nearby place and had some pasta. The whole time we were eating, Aiden tried to initiate a conversation many times but I either didn't reply or just nodded.
By the end, he had already given up on making me talk. After he paid for our lunch, we got out of the restaurant, walking back to the hotel.
Aiden suddenly stopped in his tracks, which made me stop as well, turning to him confused.
"Uhh.. Nora I think I forgot my phone in there, lemme just go quickly grab it. You can just take a walk here..." He trailed off, waiting for my response.
I sighed and turned around, walking in the other direction.
I was taking a walk by the trees, enjoying the warm sun and calm environment.
Hasn't it been so long since Aiden returned? I turned back to see him coming from the direction of ....our hotel? Why is he coming from there?
I walked towards him and asked him. "I thought you went to take your phone?"
"Uhh.. yeah I did... I took my phone and.. yeah I thought you went back to the hotel, I didn't notice you here.. so.. yeah." He sounded nervous. I didn't pay much attention to it.
"Can we go now?" I asked him and he nodded. We both, then, went back to the hotel.
-
I did nothing the entire day, just scrolling on my phone. I called Aria but she didn't pick up. She's so going to get in trouble when I go back.
