Nora's POV
"Not until you've answered my questions." Aiden said, making me gulp.
"Uh..." I trailed off, not knowing what he wanted to know.
"What are you doing here, Nora?" He asked and I looked down towards my lap and just said nothing.
"I will answer all your questions.. but first I need to go get my pay, because my shift is over." I said.
He stood up and I followed.
"Alright then, you go get your pay, I'll just throw these stuff and be there." He said and I gulped, but nodded anyway.
I made my way inside the club and saw the manager lady and Kath giving me these grins, I was confused, but I went towards them.
"Uh... ma'am my shift is over, right?" I asked her.
She smiled and said "Yes, and you got two men fighting over you?" She asked and my eyes widened.
Do they know that Aiden beat that guy up?
Will I not get my pay now?
What if they sue Aiden? Holy shit!
"Here's your pay, plus a small tip." She said and winked.
"Ma'am it was not-"
"Oh it's okay Nora, no one would go against the Kings anyway. You did your job well, huh? How did you even attract Aiden King to yourself?" She asked me and chuckled along with Kath, and I got confused.
Wait, she thinks something happened between Aiden and I?
I gritted my teeth and looked at her.
"Ma'am I suppose pleasing men was not the part of my job, and nothing happened between-"
"What do you mean it wasn't your job girl?" She said, glaring at me and then turned to Kath.
"What is she saying Kath, Tory told me, I just had to bartender at the club." I asked her and she looked at me, confused.
"No I told Tory clearly what she was supposed to do here, hence why I asked you I don't want any mistakes." She replied and I just said nothing.
"So......" I paused for a while. "I was called here for pleasing your V.I.P guests." I said to no one in particular.
Why would Tory not tell me that? This is so fucking embarrassing. I counted the pay, she gave me a 100 dollar extra, I then went towards the manager and gave her "tip" back.
"Thank you." I said and turned around to walk out.
When I almost reached the door. "So that's what you're here for?" I heard Aiden.
I just walked out and he followed me, I was in no mood to listen to him.
"Did I even save you or you went willingly with him?" He said, making me stop.
