I walked around the suddenly empty hallways after leaving Erwin's office once the meeting was over. They were coming up with the plan to capture Annie and they wanted me to help seeing as I apparently knew the future.
I sigh out, my boots thudding against the floor as I walked out onto the training field. "So this is where everyone is." all the scouts were outside training or just mingling about in groups while chatting happily. It was oddly peaceful, like the memorable school lunch times where you muck around with your friends.
"(y/n)!" Eren calls out to me, jumping up and down while waving frantically. I wave back to him as he went back to training with Mikasa. I walked around a bit longer, going towards a tree to lean against it. I held my knees to my chest, resting my head against them as I finally have the chance to just stop and wrap my head around everything.
How did I get here and why?
I hiss lightly as I pull my sleeve up on my left arm, seeing the giant bite mark Annie had generously left me from my titan form.
And why am I getting these marks?
This isn't right.
"SHORTY'S WIFE!" I jump and quickly pull my sleeve down, looking up to see Hanji running up to me.
"Hanji, what's up-" I squeal as she suddenly picks me up and throws me over her shoulder before running off. "Hanji! Put me down!" I gasp out, holding the back of her shirt.
"NOPE!"
"Where are you taking me!?"
"It's a surprise!" I sigh out and just let my hands dangle, my hair flying around as Hanji runs to wherever she's taking me.
"And here we are!" She finally puts me down on my feet and I stumble back. I feel hands hold my shoulders and I turn around to see Eren grinning at me.
"Ok. What's going on?"
"We are doing an experiment!"
"You know, you could've just asked me." I smack my forehead and Hanji looks at me with wide eyes.
"Really!? I normally have to chase after Eren just to get him to help me with my experiments!" I turn to the said boy and he sheepishly rubs the back of his neck.
"She scares me..." Eren mumbles out and I snicker.
"Ok, what's the experiment?" I turn back to Hanji as she suddenly whips out a clipboard from thin air, her glasses glinting mischievously.
This isn't going to be good, is it?
"It's just a simple comparison between your titan forms! I want to gather more information! Especially about you (y/n)!" Eren and I both nod and everyone stands back away from each other to give us space for when we transform. Eren was going first but seemed to be having trouble transforming as blood dripped down his arm.
