There was an obvious sense of glee and excitement in the air as people rushed around to get the beach ready for the celebrations. The sun was high with no signs of clouds against the clear blue sky, the air sweet and salty as the soft rush of the ocean water gently crashed against the shore.
I could hear people chatter happily outside my tent as I tried to calm my racing heart. I fussed over my dress and smoothed it down, a simple and elegant lace dress with flower embroidery.

To say the least, I was nervous.
Very nervous.
I had never been to any one of these before in my life so I don't really know what goes on during these! Just what seemed to be a few months ago, I was watching Attack on Titan on my TV and being annoyed over popup ads! Now I had just surpassed living decades after being a titan in that show and getting married to THE Levi Ackerman.
It took half the year to plan the wedding the minute Levi proposed to me and I was excited as fuck as the girls helped me with everything along with Levi. Of course, I wouldn't leave him out of it. It was a special day for him too.
I never thought I would get married. I swore myself off that after witnessing my parent's own marriage burn up in flames, believing that it was a waste of time and energy. I even swore that my friends would be the first ones to get married.
Now look at me. I'm actually getting married.
I feel giddy all of a sudden, trying to take in deep breaths when I feel the curtain move. "How's my favourite bride to be!?" Hanji squeals out, jumping over to me and hugging me tightly and I just laugh from happiness.
"Nervous and excited! I', worried about having a panic attack from all this adrenaline though." I chuckle lightly and Hanji squishes my cheeks together so I would look at her.
