"How did the Yaegerist faction get to the harbour so quickly!?" Sasha nibbles nervously on a potato and I sit in the cart silently with the children. Onyankopon and Yelena were tied up on the other cart, not like they would try to run away. Hanji and Magath were scoping out the area, trying to come up with a plan as I watched the burns in my arms pulse a soft red. They shone lightly under the sun, a slightly mesmerising sight, almost like glitter.
I feel movement next to me and I look over to see Falco staring at my arm in curiosity. "What's that ring?" Gabi suddenly asks and I look down at my hand with the simple and beautiful ring sitting on my finger. I blush lightly, staring at Levi who had his head bowed like he was resting.
"I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say." I smile nervously, toying with the ring.
"I gave it to her." Levi cuts me off before I could say anything, staring at me and I hear Hanji gasp out. She whips her head to face me all the way up from the sandy hill.
"Did I hear Levi say he gave a ring to (y/n)!?" She squeals out and Magath slams her mouth shut.
How'd she hear that all the way from up there?
"Wait! Captain, are you and (y/n) getting married!?" Connie exclaims in shock and everyone looks at us in surprise.
"No way! Captain Levi proposing!? I thought he couldn't feel emotions!?" Jean gets hit with a glare from Levi and he cowers away.
"I'm so happy for you! You clearly love each other." Armin claps happily and I notice Levi's ears turn red.
"Hold on, they never said Levi proposed." Mikasa quietly says.
"Mikasa is right! Maybe it's a promise ring!" Sasha sputters out, bits of her potato flying.
"Sasha, keep your mouth shut when you're eating. Disgusting." Annie rolls her eyes.
"Well, what's the answer? I need to know!" Hanji practically leaps over and I look at Levi as he stares at my ring.
"It was a gift I gave her for Christmas." I could see the cadet's mood deflate. "A promise ring that I will marry her in the future." and everyone was finally beaming as I blushed.
"Levi! You're getting married!" Hanji dances around, singing about being a bridesmaid.
"If you will have me that is." Levi holds my hand and I chuckle.
"You had to ask at a time like this huh. You practically forced this on me." I giggle and Levi rolls his eyes playfully.
"You hardly objected."
"That is true."
"As much as I would love to keep this sweet moment going, we need to come up with a way to infiltrate the harbour and spare enough time to get the Azumabito to start an airship for us." Magath says and everyone goes back to being serious. I climb up the sandy hill and perch myself to view over the hill. I hear the cadets below me trying to come up with a plan and start arguing with each other again about murdering people if needed, especially Eren.
