I mindlessly walk around the field, my head craned up as all my focus was on the stars twinkling above me. I sighed blissfully against the unusual warm winds, spinning around in giddiness as I just watched the stars. I tiptoed up, reaching a hand up to the stars as if I was trying to touch one. I stand back down to normal, holding my arms as I just watched their lights shine against the night sky.
I was outside, just waiting for Hanji as she wanted to do an experiment with me which was odd considering how late it was.
I squeal in surprise as I feel arms wrap around my waist and spin me around off the ground. "Levi!" I giggle, hearing him chuckle as he put me down and I turn around to face him.
"How did you know it was me?" Levi asks, keeping his arms around my waist as I grin up at him.
"You have this really nice smell of lemon and detergent." Levi blinks at me in surprise, his cheeks flushing a soft pink. I lean forward and rest my nose on his chest, just breathing him in.
"Stop that you brat." Levi coughs out in embarrassment and I lean back, just chuckling. Levi looks down at me after clearing his blush, his eyes hooded with a soft look like I was his world. My heart raced as I stared up at him, seeing the stars shine in his eyes as he smiled gently. I close my eyes as Levi brushes his fingers against my cheek and I lean into his palm, holding his hand with mine. I look up at him as he holds my left hand, kissing the back of my finger that has his ring on it.
"Levi..." I don't know if it was the late-night sentiments or the overwhelming warm feeling from him but I wanted to shower Levi with all the love he deserved in this world. I lean down and kiss his chest where his heart would be, feeling his erratic heartbeat against my fingertips.
"Whatcha doing lovebirds!?" I jump in fright and whip my head to see Hanji prancing over to us with the biggest shit-eating grin on her face. I groan out lowly and I hear Levi growl in annoyance.
"Waiting for you apparently." I sigh out and Hanji just laughs.
"No need to be sassy (y/n). The sooner we get this over with the sooner you two can break the bed!" I sputter out and I feel Levi clutch onto my waist as his face goes red.
"Keep that filthy mouth of yours shut shitty glasses." Levi hisses out, hesitantly letting me go.
"You're so easy to rile up short stack!" Hanji grins but quickly turns to me. "Are you ready (y/n)?"
"Ready for what? You never told me what I'm doing." I shrug, keeping close to Levi.
"Oh right! I want you to try and summon the Guardian Titan in your human form!" I freeze up, my body going frigid. "I thought that if you could summon it in your titan form, what about your human form!?"
