I sigh out as I gripped the stair railings tightly, walking down the stairs slowly until I reached the kitchen area where everyone was cleaning or cooking. We all were camped out in a small but cute abandoned house, in hiding from the government and the MP's. Ever since we were heading back to headquarters from Erens rescue mission, the MP's had declared us enemies to the government and were on the hunt for us. Specifically for me, Eren and Historia.
They must have caught whiff of us but obviously, it's part of the story.
"(Y/n)! You should be resting!" Historia exclaims as soon as she spots me while setting down firewood, frowning at my pale complexion and weak steps.
"I got bored staying upstairs." I've been in there the entire two days we've been here.
Plus my ass hurts from sitting all day.
"I don't care. Get back up there missy!" Historia frowns at me as Eren helped me sit down on a stool.
"Nah. It's more fun down here. I heard and Eren and Jean fighting again." Jean rolls his eyes as Armin complains to Mikasa about resting.
"Don't bother. I saw her doing sit-ups this morning." I chuckle lightly, flinching from the aches in my body. My body hasn't recovered properly yet since the rescue mission and since I used my power twice, it was taking a huge toll on healing.
"Funny. Almost feels like we're at the cadet core doesn't it?" Sasha mumbles out.
"Chaos. Makes you wonder why they chose us for the new Levi squad." Armin replies back as I play with the new change of clothes. I was dressed in a loose shirt and long skirt. It was much more breathable than the tight uniform at least.
"I asked Erwin to cause the story has to continue..." I sigh out, leaning my head back to crack my neck and everyone looks at me with wide eyes. "Don't look so shocked. You all know by now." I sigh out, remembering back to everyone's pale faces when Levi asked me to tell them that I wasn't from here. They all swore to secrecy or Levi was going to punish them.
"Yeah but protecting Eren, you and Historia is such an important mission."
"Cause we're all so talented I assume." I look over at Sasha with tired eyes.
"Don't even try Sasha. Give me." Sasha pouts as she passes me the bread she was about to steal and I give it to Connie. "You better not eat it too." Connie smiles embarrassingly at me as I just grin at him.
"Hey, can we focus here! We gotta finish cleaning here before the captain gets back!"
"What's all the commotion?" I look up to see Levi walk through the door and I raise a brow at the suit he was wearing.
