We were exhausted. After Jump Jam, we'd played in the falling snow. By 'played,' I mean my brothers and Lily had played tag, and Jason and I had danced playfully. It was fun, but now we were all tired. So we'd settled into our guest room again. We were playing a board game, one I'd never heard of before. It was called 'Sorry.' Chris was winning. It wasn't the most fun game I'd ever played, but it cheered Chris up. He got sad when Lily had to leave. Ridiculous. I don't think I'll ever be that way when/if I found my mate.

"Sorry, Alex," Aidan shrugged as he knocked my piece back to start. I gaped at him in mock hurt.

"Rude." I told him. He laughed a bit. And we continued on. But I eventually got so bored I just slumped back against the bed and opened a book. I think it was called A Dog's Purpose. It was a good book, though not the greatest I've ever read. I was just grateful to have something to read. I wasn't given any books in Half Moon, and learned the hard way to not ask for anything. I'd already zoned my brothers out, focused on the words on the page and the image in my head. That's when I got hit in the head with the pillow. "Hey! What was that for?!" But my words fell upon empty ears. The game lay in its box, forgotten by the TV stand, and Aidan stood upon one of the beds, a pillow in hand.

"PILLOW FIGHT!" He yelled, brandishing his pillow and dragging out the 'I' in 'fight'.

"Aidan, it's ten o'clock at night! You'll wake someon-" But it was no use. Chris had already picked up another pillow and had challenged Aidan to a fight. "Boys, I'm serious!"

"Let them play, Red. It's been so long since they could. Let 'em get it out of their systems." Jason was grinning like Cheshire Cat, watching my two younger brothers with amusement. "Why don't we join them?" I shook my head. "Come on, it'll be fun!" I visibly sighed in defeat. Jason's grin widened as he handed me a pillow.

Pillow in hand, Jason and I crept up on the boys. I was taking care of Aidan, and Jason had Chris. Chris saw me and raised an eyebrow whilst being thwacked with Aidan's pillow. I put a finger to my lips and raised my pillow. Making eye contact with Jason, I counted down from three to one. On one, we hit the boys upside the head. Aidan, having not suspected that, fell over almost immediately. And I fell beside him, laughing so hard I could barely breathe.

The next half hour was spent in a pillow war. We'd make little alliances and ambush the others, because the way we did it, it was like a pillow fight plus hide-and-seek. It was so much fun. I didn't think one day was capable of containing so much fun! But it was interrupted by the phone, which was installed in the bedroom part of the guest room, began to ring. I tapped on Jason's shoulder, and he abandoned the war to pick it up, which turned Chris and Aidan on each other. I sat on the bed next to Jason, trying to figure out who he was talking to.

"-right next to me." He was saying. He glanced over at me, and I furrowed my brows in question. 'Trey,' he mouthed. I nodded. "I'm sorry, sir, I didn't get that last part... oh. That's great! See you then. Bye." He hung up the phone and turned to me.

"What was that all about?" I asked as he sat down next to me.

"Well," He sighed, laying back to stare at the ceiling. "Trey sorted everything out. We leave the fourteenth. That gives us two days to enjoy Blood Moon and the snow before we leave for Hawaii."

I nodded and let my thoughts wander. "What if we went to town?"

"What?" Jason sat up and looked me in the eyes. His lavender ones were full of bewilderment.
