Sorry it took so long.

Alex strode into Blood Moon's guest room. "Boys, get your stuff together. We leave in about an hour."  Indeed, today was the day they departed from Blood Moon to go to Silver Claws. All four of the Arrowoods were excited to finally have a home to call their own, if only for a little bit. They weren't sure Alex and Austin's relationship was gonna hold just yet.

"I'll go get Lily." Austin had fought tooth and claw to get the blonde girl to come with them. Not because she didn't want to go, but because Raphael was hesitant due to Lily's omega status. He hadn't said how, but he'd eventually gotten the stubborn alpha to give in and allow Lily to go with them to Silver Claws.

Alex sat down in a chair at the table, leaning back and closing her eyes. "You seem relaxed." Jason observed, his voice echoing around in her head.

"I am. We finally have a home, Jason. And I want to enjoy it, even if it's only for a little while."

"Why would you say that?"

"Because even though I told Austin about my past, I don't think he understands just how much it broke me. And once he sees the real me... I don't know if he'll still want me as his mate..."

"Has anyone ever told you that you're oblivious?" Jason laughed. Alex shot him a confused look. "It's obvious that Austin will never leave you. We've known him for three days and I can already see just how much he adores you. And I'm truly happy for you, Alex. I am. You deserve this." He smiled. He really was happy for his best friend. Even if it was a little hard seeing her with Austin. But he'd get over it; he had to.

Alex leaned further back in her chair. A home to call her own. Oh, how sweet that would be. A home where she (hopefully) wouldn't be abused like in Half Moon. She didn't think Austin would do that, though. Still, she hadn't thought Rodriguez would do that either.

"Can we get something to eat before we leave?" Aidan asked.

"Of course. Lobo's?"

"Yes!"

Alex chuckled. "Alright then, let's go."

The siblings got up and made their way to the door, Jason grabbing some of the money Jonah had gifted them on the way out. They picked up Chris and Lily on the second floor, then Austin and the boys on the main floor. "We're going out to eat; wanna come?" Jason asked them.

"Let's do it," Max grinned and tugged Silas, who was on the phone, with them. "Sorry, he's talking to Tess. He'll be out of it for a few minutes."

"'Tess?'" Chris asked.

"His mate." Max turned to the redheaded teen. "I don't think we've met yet. I'm Max Cross, Gamma of Silver Claws. Nice to meet ya," Max shook hands with Chris and Lily. Then he turned to Aidan. "You must be Aidan! I've heard all about you!"

Aidan furrowed his brows in confusion, looking from the blonde boy to his redheaded sister. "Uh... hi?"

"Sorry, that must've sounded weird. What I mean is Alex told us about all of you. And if you ask me," Max leaned in and whispered in Aidan's ear, "you're her favorite." Aidan grinned, which made Alex smile as she held hands with Austin. After she'd told him about her past, they'd begun to do that a lot more.

When they arrived at Lobo's, the waitress looked over their group in boredom. Her dark hair was piled atop her head in a messy bun, and her green eyes showed little to no emotion as she gazed at their group. Alex noticed that she looked familiar somehow. "How many people?" The lady asked in a monotone. There, that was it! This was Katherine, Harry's sister. The one who'd been yelling at Jonah in the mall. The last time Alex had seen those bottle green eyes, they'd been bright with anger. "How many people?" She asked again, voice harder.
