I got out the shower and dried off and put on T'Challa's robe, at this point this comfy item technically belonged to me. I opened the bathroom door
"I'm still hungry did they say how-"
I froze when I saw the room T'Challa was holding his jacket, and I looked around and saw the purple and white rose petals all around the room, and off to the was the table with the cake and champagne
"What's going on?" I asked slowly he sighed and walked over
"I planned on this going a little better, but." He took my head and led me to the bed
"Have a seat." He said and I did, I felt my heart stop as he got on one knee in from of me.
"T'Challa." I gasped
"It was a year ago today that we locked eyes in the crowded U.N. room, it was one of the worst days of my life, but it still brought me to you. you are the best thing that have ever happened to me."
"Are you sure about this?" I asked and he smiled
"I've never been more sure of anything in my life, I love you Ayesha. I need you. You and I have been through a lot this year, and I wouldn't change a thing. Good or bad you are the only person I want to share every moment with, so Ayesha Rhodes will you marry me?" He opened the box reveling the most beautiful ring I've ever saw, I coved my mouth as my tears feel and I nodded my head'

"Yes." I cried
"Yes?" He asked and I smiled
"Yes!"
"Are you sure?" He asked mocking me I wiped my eyes and laughed
"Yes, yes, yes!" I said kissing him we pulled back and he slid the ring onto my finger.
"It's you and I now forever." He said then kissed my lips
"Forever." I repeated against his lips, I moved my hands to his shirt and I began to unbutton it, as he opedn the robe I was wearing
"I love you."
"I love you too."
He picked me up laid me back on the bed I wrapped my arms around his neck and he laid down on top of me.
I woke up the next morning wrapped in T'Challa's arms, and I looked down at my ring and smiled. I never thought I would get here, but I loved this man and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him. I smiled as I felt his grip tighten around me and he kissed my cheek
"Good morning." He said in my ear
"Morning... Hmm I love this ring." I said looking at him with a smile
"I'm glad it was my mothers, my birth mother. I had it resized for you."
"Wow, you never talk about her."
"I don't know much only what my father has told me, she died when I was born."
"I'm sorry my love." I said rubbing his cheek, he just kissed my palm nd smiled at me
"Do you think we can just stay in bed today?" He asked with a smile knowing it was not possible today
"And let all of your hard work go to waste? Not a chance." I told him
"Well I think we have about thirty minutes then." He said then rolled on top of me, he leaned down just as out lips were about to touch, his cell phone rang.
"Ignore it." I said wrapping my arms around his neck, I knew we had a full day and this was going to be the only alone time we got today. He nodded then kissed me then the hotel phone started ringing, we pulled apart. He reached over and answered it
"Hello?" He sighed into the phone, I could hear his assistant, Amari speaking to him.
"Ok, we're getting dressed now." He said then hung up and he looked at me
"I'm sorry my love, but governor would like us to join him foe brunch." He said and I shged
"We have a long day today but we have forever together.He said and I kissed him
'Forever' that word used to scare the shit out of me but I love hearing that word from him.
We met Ayo and Okoye in the lobby
"How was your night?" Okoye asked and I held up my hand
"I'd say it's pretty good." I said said and she gave us one of those rare smiles
"Glory to Bast!" Ayo said
"Congratulations!" She said then gave each of us a hug,
"Well let's get this day started." T'Challa said taking my hand
I stood next to T'Challa as he cut the ribbon signaling the opening of the new Wakandan Embassy. Then he wrapped his arm around my waist and we smiled for some more pictures. My face was going sore tomorrow from all the smile I had to do today.
At the reception we sat at a table with Pops, and my uncle, and Tony, and Pepper. We made a lot of small talk but from the way Uncle James kept looking I knew he wanted the real tea.
"So is there anything you want to tell us?" He asked looking at T'Challa and I.
"No we had quiet night last night, and haven't even had a moment to ourselves all day." I said purposely ignoring his question T'Challa looked at me and winked. I head back a smile from their disappointed looks
"No questions asked?" He asked
"Oh yeah well he asked.." I said
"And..."
"We decided it wasn't the right time." T'Challa said
"What?" Pops said and Uncle James stood up
"We need to talk." He said to me
"What? I was just about to show you my ring." I said with a smile I turned to ring showing my diamond. T'Challa laughed
