"Oh my God that is gorgeous!" Pepper said as she held my hand looking down at the ring

"He did good right?"

"Oh he did excellent!" She said smiling at me

"Tony you better be taking notes." Uncle James said making him choke on his drink, and we laughed at him

After I showed the ring they all congratulated us

"I know it's early but do you have any ideas for the wedding?" Pepper asked me and I glanced at T'Challa who was now across the room shaking hands and I shook my head

'I never really believed in the happily ever after like most girls, so I never thought this would happen."

"Well it is and you deserve it, and to think you met a real life Prince Charming."

"I know I still have moments where I'm trying to wrap my head around it, but I know there is no one else for me than him."

I locked eyes with my fiancé who winked at me then turned back to the person he was speaking to he shook his hand and walked over to me

"I'll be right back." I said to Pepper then I stood up and met him halfway, and he wrapped his arms around my waist and I placed my hands on his arms

"Have I told you how proud of you I am today?" I said to him, and he smiled

"Thank you."

"I mean it this is amazing."

"I'm just. What did you call it? Following my own path."

"And you're doing great at it your father would be proud of you too."." I said rubbing his arm

"I think I've had enough for today, I'm ready to get some alone time with my fiancée." He said the pecked my lips making me smile

"I like the sound of that." I said

"We can run us a hot bath, and order your cheesecake." He added and I stopped him

"You already had me at 'alone time'." I smiled he looked around then took my hand and we slipped out the room. I looked back to see the Dora's following us of course. When of a sudden he stopped

"Monica?" He said and I looked ahead to see Monica-Lynne, she smiled at him.

'T'Challa I was hoping we could talk." She walked over

"I can go wait in the car, if you want to talk to her." I told him and she finally looked at me then down at our connected hands

"No stay." He said and she looked sad at his words

"What are doing here Monica?" He asked her and she looked down and sighed then looked at me

"I'm sorry, but I just needed to talked to you face to face."

"Monica I meant what I said, it was one night and it's over. We're over." He said

"After everything we've been through."

"You left me and I've moved on.' He said then he glanced at me

"Ayesha and I are getting married."

"Oh... Well congratulations." She said softly

"My king.' Okoye walked over to us and looked at Monica then back at us

"The car is out front." She said and he nodded

"Are you ok? I can arrange a car to take you home." T'Challa asked her and she shook her head and walked away

"Is everything ok?" Okoye asked

"We're fine." I spoke up. She nodded and we walked out to the car. Once we were in the car T'Challa turned to me

"I was going to tell you she called me."

"It's fine." I said looking at him and I meant it

"Are you sure?"

"You've never given me a reason to doubt you, I 've grown I trust you," I said rubbing his cheek he kissed my hand.

"Now I think you said something about a bath and cheesecake." I said and he smiled.

"What kind of wedding do you want?" T'Challa asked from behind me as we sat in the bathtub.

"Hmm I don't know, maybe something small but between you and I don't think that's possible." I said looking up at him and he smiled

"I think you're right but whatever you want we can make it happen."

"What do you want?" I asked him

"I want us to get married in June." He said and I looked up him wit a frown

"That's six months away." I said not thinking we could pull it all together by then

"You've never seen my mother in action then." He said wrapping his arms around me and kissed my cheek

"June?" I asked again and he nodded

"June it is then, but you better help me." I said

"Of course my love."
