Another Chance

As I packed a bag I was still processing the conversation I had with Nat just a few hours ago. Scott Lang a.k.a Ant man was still alive. He was technically in another dimension when the snap occurred, the technology used could help us go back and undo the snap.

"I think you should take protection with you." Okoye told me

"I'll be fine, just keep things running here and take care of my babies." I said

"You know you don't even have to ask that."

"I know but if I don't come back just make sure they know how much I love them."

"They know, and you will be back." She said and I hugged her

"Thank you for everything, I don't think we tell you enough how important you are to us." I said

"I'll have someone take your luggage down." She told me once we pulled away, I knew that was the best I was going to get out her.

I walked down to the playroom and found the loves of my life just being so stinking cute. Imani was having a tea party with her stuffed animals. While Azari was building up his blocks only to knock them back down again.

"Hey babies." I said softly I walked as in and I kneeled down as they both came and gave me a hug

"Mama can you have a tea party with me?"

"No come play with me!"

They began to go back and forth until cut in

"Hey! Listen I need to talk to you guys." I said and they looked at me

"Mama has to go a trip for awhile ok?" I said and they frowned, we have never been apart since they have been born

"Where are you going?" Azari asked

"I'm going to America, auntie Nat needs my help with something."

"Can we come too? We want to see auntie Nat too." Imani said

"Not this time baby." I said and she pouted

"How long are you going to be gone?" She asked

"Hopefully not too long, I'll try to get back as soon as I can. I promise I'll call you every night to read our stories and I want to hear all about your day ok?" I said and they nodded but I could tell they were still confused. I didn't want to tell them what I was going for, I didn't want to get anymore hopes up because it was a far reach anyways

"I want you guy to be good for your grandma ok?"

"Yes mama."

"Remember what I always tell you, you two have an unbreakable bond and I want you to love and look out for each other ok?" I said and they nodded

"Good," I said hugging them close then I pressed a kiss to each of their cheeks

"Mama too tight." Azari said with a laugh, I smiled and squeezed them playfully and they giggled

"I just love you two so much."

"I love you mama." They said and I kissed each of them one last time then they quickly went back to playing. I wiped my eyes as I looked at them. then I stood up

'I'm doing this for them' I kept telling myself as I walked out of the playroom. I said my goodbyes to Ramonda, then I was on my way, I sat back on the jet praying this was going to work.

I got to the compound I found them on the lower deck which was basically an open work space. I stopped in my tracks when I saw the Hulk, even more so when I heard him talking as Bruce. What did I miss?

"Three, two, one." He said and I watched as Scott disappear then reappear as a kid.

"This doesn't feel right." He said then he disappeared again, only for an old man to appear

"Oh my back hurts!" He said then he disappeared again and this time came back as a baby

"Oh my God." Nat said shaking her head

"Can you bring him back?" Steve asked

"I'm working on it." Hulk said then Scott disappeared again this time he came back as normal

"Somebody peed my pants, and I don't know if it was the old me or the baby." He said, and I walked down the stairs

"Please don't tell me that was our time travel?" I asked

"At the moment." Nat said giving me a grateful smile which I returned then I gave her hug then Steve and I looked at the Hulk

"Bruce?" I asked in shock and he smiled

"How did this happen?" I asked

"Long story." Nat said

"I don't know if you remember me, but I'm Scott Lang your highness." He said holding out his hand and I shook it

"I remember you, and just call me Ayesha." I said

Then I looked at the van

"So this is it?"

"Yep."

"I don't know I expected more," I said looking over the ugly van they held our futures

"I know but it's all we got for now."

"And teamwise is this it?" I asked looking amongst the five of us

"Another work in progress, Rhodey is still handing some stuff, I sent word to Rocket and Nebula it going to take them a couple of days to get here, and Tony is out." She told me

"What do you mean out?

'He's out he's finally in a good space with his family and he wants to keep that peace."

"That is bullshit."

"Truthfully I think he's still spooked from Thanos." Steve said and I shook my head

"Who isn't we've never dealt with someone like him before, but we've all been forced to suffer because of it."

"He just needs some time." Steve said

"He's had five years! Five years with his whole family." I stopped myself I wasn't going down that road

"It's ok we're still making some adjustments, let's take a break a bit." Steve said and I nodded and he walked outside

"Hey, you want to hear the story of professor Hulk?" Bruce said with a smile I couldn't help but laugh

"Sure.." I said shaking my head, I sat down and listened to his story by the time he was done Steve walked back in with his shield and Tony.

"Nice of you to join us." Nat said to him

"I figured it out, the secret to time travel." He said and I knew now for sure this was going to work
