Incoming Threat

"Ok so it's set?" I asked Dr. Tomi

"Yes, now we leave it overnight and it will be ready tomorrow." She told me and I nodded

My life has been really hectic since being crowned Queen of Wakanda. I was pulled in so many directions, but I always made time to work in the hospital.

"Sounds good so all the labs came back good?"

"Everything is perfect, so stop worrying this is going to work. Now it's late you should get some rest, aren't you visiting the girl's school tomorrow?" She asked me

"Oh yeah I almost forgot, I'll check back in tomorrow when I get back." I told her and she nodded then I left the hospital. I made it back to our room, T'Challa wasn't there. he was probably watching the boarders again, I called the kitchens to have some food brought up, because I knew he probably missed dinner as well then I went and took a shower.

When I got out the shower our food had been brought up but still no sign of my husband. I called him on my kimoyo beads but he didn't answer, I rolled my eyes. Then I saw down and started to eat alone, until he come in about five minutes later.

"Sorry I'm late." He said giving me a kiss

"It's fine I just got back not too long ago, I had them bring you something too."

"I'm not hungry,"

"T'Challa." I sighed

'Have you eaten at all today?" I asked because he was gone before I woke up

"Yes." He said walking into the closet, I knew he was lying. This dream was consuming him and I was starting to get worried

"How was your day?" I asked him as he walked out the closet shirtless

"I spent most the day at the boarder, then I was checking the satellites. I talked to Ross earlier he says everything is fine over there, but he's going to let me know if anything changes." He told me then walked into the bathroom

I didn't know what to do, I trusted him and I didn't want to invalidate his feelings but I need him to also take care of himself. I got up and followed him into the bathroom where he was in the shower

"Are you sure you don't want to eat? I can go get you something else,"

"I'm fine."

"T'Challa."

"Ayesha stop!" He snapped I shook my head and walked out the bathroom, I cleaned up my food, and got into the bed and turned off the lights I heard the bathroom open then T'Challa got in the bed he wrapped his arm around me and I pushed it off, and moved away from him. he sighed and rolled over and I felt a sleep.

We were woken up by his kimoyo beads ringing loudly

"You couldn't have turned those off?" I groaned rubbing my head at the headache forming

"Don't start." He said then answered as I closed my eyes again

'My king, we have something you should see turn on your screen,'

I heard T'Challa turned on turned on the T.V. then he cursed, I turned over

"What is-"

I froze as I looked at the screen the was spaceship floating in the sky above Manhattan. I sat up as I caught a glimpse of Tony and I think Peter Parker.

"When was this?" I heard T'Challa asked

"About an hour ago."

"Send me General Okoye and prepare a jet." He said then got out of the bed, I grabbed my phone and called my uncle but I didn't get an answer. So I got out the bed and quickly got dressed too

"I think you should stay here."

"Are you crazy? That's my family too, I'm going with you." I said

"If this is the start of my dream I lose you at the end, and I'm not letting that happen."

"And in your dream, you saw Wakanda, so wouldn't I have a better chance in America?"

"This isn't a joke, Ayesha!"

"I would never be able to live with myself if I let something happen to you." He said

"I can take care of myself you know that, and I don't run from a fight. Do you really think I don't worry about losing you? we can't let fear stop us, one thing we do know for certain is we're better together." I said taking his hands,

The was a knock at the door, he kissed my hand then let go

"Come in." He said and Okoye walked in

"I just saw the footage the jet will be ready shortly." She said

"Good. We need-" He stopped once we heard a buzzing noise. T'Challa walked over to the nightstand on his side and pulled out the burner phone that Steve gave him. He looked at us then answered the phone

"Captain Rodgers," He answered the phone,

"Of course what do you need from us?" He asked and Okoye and I looked at each other.

"What is it exactly? Shuri can do it." He said as he started to pace as the conversation continued

"That thing over New York is it gone?"

"And Stark?"

"We will be ready, when you get here." He said then hung up

"What is going on?" I asked him

"Change of plans they are coming here instead."

Then he told us about the coming threat: Thanos
