We walked through the river tribe discussing the upcoming battle. We cleared our schedules to focus on everything we needed to prepare for.

"We have already started evacuation plans." I told T'Challa

"Good, and the kings guard?" He asked Okoye who was on his other side

"The kings guard and the Dora Milaje have been alerted." She told him

"What about the border tribe?" I asked her

"Yes, at least those that are left." She said

"Send word to the Jabari as well, M'Baku likes a good fight."

"And this one?" She said pointing to Bucky who was moving hay bells

"He maybe tired of war but the 'White Wolf' has rested long enough." He said using the name the children of the river tribe gave Bucky. Shuri found a cure over a year ago, once he was deemed safe, the river tribe took him in and he's been here ever since. When he saw us he shook his head

"The king and queen what did I do to deserve this visit?"

"How are you Bucky?" I asked and he shrugged

"We brought you something." I told him and nodded to guard and he sat the case on a rock in front of Bucky, and opened it showing him the vibranium arm Shuri has designed for him.

"Where's the fight?"

"On its way." T'Challa told him

An hour later we were in in the throne room with the elders explaining the situation.

"We need to close our borders again! we should have never opened them!" Amadi, the elder of the merchant tribe, she was the most vocal about being against opening up to the world.

"This isn't a worldly threat this is something different."

"And it's a threat against the entire universe, not just earth, not just Wakanda. This is way more than a border issue."

"And what of the people?"

"We've worked routes, we've opened up the tunnels to the Jabari mountains the people will make their way there. the Jabari is ready to welcome them into safety." I told them

"If things start to get bad we will send a signal up, and the Jabari will lead the way out of Wakanda through the mountains."

"If this threat is as big as you say, where would we be safe?"

"I won't get that far, as the protector of Wakanda I just want to take as many precautions as possible. The Avengers are on their way here as we speak. The kings guard, Dora Milaje, boarder tribe, and the Jabari are prepared to fight. As well as myself, the queen, and the white wolf if that's not our best defense I don't know what is."

"If you two are once again rushing off to fight, who will lead the people? We will not answer to the Jabari!" Mika, the leader of the mining tribe said which of course upset Idir the Jabari elder and they began going back and forth. This was usually how most of these meetings went

"Enough!" T'Challa stood and they got quiet

"In our absence, the queen mother will step in." He said nodding to his mother

'But-"

"No done with this! I've made my decision it's your choice to evacuate and keep your tribe safe, I ask is that you let them know it is an option." He said then walked out the room

"We're done for today... This fight is coming here and we just need to work together to keep our citizens safe." I told them then they got up to leave the room

"I'm going to go check on him, can you make sure everyone gets the evacuation plans?" I asked Ramonda

"Of course my dear." She said then kissed my cheek and I went to find T'Challa. He didn't go too far he was in his office down the hall

"Are you ok?" I asked

"I just get tired of arguing with them all the time."

"I'm sorry."

"It's not your fault."

"No, you know I couldn't care less about their temper tantrums. I'm sorry for doubting you, you kept saying something was coming and I didn't listen. Now look at where we are."

"Well, there's no reason to dwell on it now." He said not looking at me

"T'Challa talk to me please."

"I don't have time to talk right now." He said

"Don't shut me out."

"How am I shutting you out? I've been with you all day! So, I'm sorry but I don't have time for you right now!"

"Don't you ever talk to me like that! I'm trying to work through this with you, this is something bigger than either of us thought."

"This was nothing remember? It was all in my head."

"And I'm trying to apologize for that."

"It's fine," He said and my beads rang, it was a message from Dr. Tomi

"I'm going to give you some time to calm down, and when you're ready it will be your turn to apologize."

Are they ready?' I asked her once I walked into her office

"Yes, come take a look." She said opening the pill bottle showing the two purple pills

"And our last round worked?"

"They worked perfectly no complaints."

"How is Nani since she's been on leave from the Dora's?"

"She's doing well, she told me her senses are still elevated from the herb but otherwise she's ok. I know things are looking scary right now but I believe this will work." She said taking my hand

"Ok," I said taking a deep breath then I took the pills, I felt a little tingle in my body but other than that I was ok.

"How do you feel?" She asked and I shrugged

"I'm ok for now I guess,"

"If you're ok now you'll be ok later."

"We need to start locking this place down, I want you to get the other doctors and nurses to take as much stuff with them as they for the evacuation."

"I know a few are going to want to stay back and help."

"Well make a log of everyone who's staying, try to limit it to around 20 people."

"I'll take care of it I'll send you a message when it's done." She said as there was a knock at the door, I turned to see Anika, a Dora standing there

"The Avengers are arriving." She told me
