They searched us then led us up the mountain the rest of the way. It was big cabin like house at the top of the mountain. We were led into an open room that was obviously their throne room, where M'Baku was sitting on his throne glaring at him, Ramonda ever the queen stepped forward to speak for us

"My son was murdered in ritual combat." She said and I shook my head hearing her say it made it feel more real

"Were the odds fair?"

"Yes but- "

"Then it was less a murder and more of a defeat."

"Do not rub our noses in it!" Shuri snapped

"Silence!" He snapped and I stepped in front of Shuri

"We didn't come here for this we need your help." I said

"Why should I help you? who are you?" He said looked down at me Ross stepped forward

"Your highness- "He started but they started growling again

'Hoo! Hoo! Hoo! Hoo!'

Ross looked at me and I shrugged

"Your highness- "they started growling again

'Hoo! Hoo! Hoo! Hoo!'

'YOU CAN NOT TALK!" M'Baku shouted at him

"One more word and I will feed you to my children." He said and Ross raised an eyebrow

"I'm just kidding we are vegetarians." He laughed and I looked at Nakia, did she really think this crazy man could help us. She stepped forward

"Great gorilla M'Baku we have come to offer you this." I handed her the herb and she kneeled down offering it to him. He looked at the herb in surprised then he looked at us

"Come with me." He said getting off his throne he led us down the hall and pulled back the curtain and I felt like I could breath again

"T'Challa!" We called out and ran over to him I sat next to his head and check his pulse

"He's alive." I said in relief

"How did he get here?"

"A fisherman found him and brought him here."

"Why do you have him in the snow!" I snapped I was done being nice

"It is the only thing stopping from joining the ancestors."

"We have to get him back to my lab," Shuri said

"Take him he will be dead in seconds." He said with a shrugged I looked down at him and rubbed his cheek

"Nakia the herb." Ramonda said holding her hand out Nakia handed it over she was given a basin and she grounded then herb up

"I call upon the Bast, please heal my son T'Challa." She said then poured it in his mouth

"we have to bury him." She said and we cover him in the snow

"Now what?" I asked

"He will go to the ancestral plane and from there hopefully come back to us." She said and I frowned

"Hopefully?"

"It's up to him at this point if he still has the will to live." She said and looked down at the pile of snow

"Wake up T'Challa come back to us." I said softly

T'Challa

'Wake up T'Challa.'

I sat up and looked around I was in the ancestral plane, I got off the ground

"My son." I turned to see my father and the other kings of the past

"The time has come for you to come home and be reunited with me." He said and I frowned and looked at him and the others

"Baba...why didn't you bring him home?" He looked guilty as he looked away from me

"He was the truth I chose to omit."

"You were wrong to abandon him."

"I chose my people, I chose Wakanda." I didn't want to hear that anymore

"YOU WERE WRONG! ALL OF YOU WERE WRONG! To turn your backs on the rest of the world! We let fear stop us from doing what's right! no more." I shook my head

"I can not stay here with you; I cannot rest while the monster you created sits on the throne. I must make things right.

'Wake up T'Challa'

He sat up gasping for air, and I couldn't believe it, he was alive! Ramonda and Shuri hugged him I sat back and let them have their time T'Challa turned to me

"Hi.' I said softly he cupped my chin and pressed his lips to mine, wrapped my arms around him not wanting this moment to end

"Eww we're still here." Shuri said and we pulled apart he pressed his forehead against mine and wiped away my tears

"Do you have a blanket?" He asked pulled away we laughed, and I wrapped mine around him and we helped him out of the snow. Nakia hugged him and he looked at M'Baku and nodded in thanks as Shuri hung onto him

"Thank you." He said out loud

"A life for a life, my debt is paid." M'Baku said
