Blue ran through the trees, but making sure to stay close to the two, he didn't want to lose sight of them, but swerving through the trees would help him not get caught. After a little while the blue skeleton decided to sit down, wanting to find some sort of way that he could get Dream out of this skeletons grasp.

What if he cut the strings? That seems to be his only option now, but what can he cut them with?

That's when he remembered what Serena gave him and Dream before they departed. She gave each of them their own sword, it was a beautiful sword that was light and small enough for the two small skeletons to swing around and carry with them. Blue took his bag off his back and opened it, revealing all of the materials that he brought, Dream had the other half so it wouldn't be too much weight on one of their backs.

Blue pulled out the sword, admiring it for a moment. It seemed to shimmer under the stars, and it had a beautiful blue handle with jewels on it. It truly was beautiful. Blue got up, leaving his bag hanging on the tree, knowing it would only slow him down in this situation. He gripped his sword tight and started to move towards the two.

His small size made it difficult for anyone to hear him as he took gentle steps, making sure not to snap a twig or crunch any leaves. Even if he did though it would be hard to tell if it was an animal or him. Blue looked through the trees and at the path where he could see them.

The skeleton was laughing, even though it was glitching, and it seemed to whisper things to Dream sometimes, which frightened the smaller skeleton. Dream was pushing, trying to get away, but nothing worked. Blue felt anger take over as he watched the scene, he just wanted to get Dream and run away with him.

Blue walked until he was at a tree, behind them. He readied his sword, ready to jump at him. He studied the angle, confirming that if he did this right he would cut the strings. Blue took a deep breath, Dream better be ready to run.

Blue jumped out, watching the angle, and slicing at the strings as he reached them. He landed over in some bushes on the side. He looked up to see what had happened, he saw Dream running away, the glitching man shooting strings out at him. Blue then got up, can Dream get away? Should he attack the glitching man? Or should he run and hope to meet Dream?

The strings were getting to close, sometimes even wrapping around his wrists or ankles, but then he was going fast enough that they couldn't get a firm grasp. Blue gripped his sword tighter, he should attack again, because Dream will get tired, and after that it will be too late.

Blue swung his sword at the glitchy one, it hissed in pain, clenching at it's now wounded shoulder. "You'll play for that." It said in a deep, but still glitching voice. That's when Blue felt his sword get pulled away from his hands, looking back to see it being held up in some strings.

Blue sprinted, feeling the blue strings slow him down, if he doesn't think of something soon he'll get caught.

He heard a scream, a glitched one. He looked back to see Dream holding his sword, backing away so he wouldn't just get caught. The darker skeleton winced in pain, Blue watched the skeleton desperately try to heal it's wounds. He could hear it speaking under it's breath, but couldn't make out the words it was saying.

Blue looked at Dream, who was approaching the injured skeleton. He didn't appear ready to attack though, he went and whispered something to the skeleton, but Blue couldn't hear that either.
