"Not far now", Finnley Reed, an average 19-year-old girl, living her first few days in her new apartment, was currently struggling to get to her front door without dropping her newly bought groceries. Stopping in front of her door, the realisation hit her. The keys to the door in front of her happened to be buried at the bottom of her bag and retrieving them required putting down her groceries which was only asking for them to spill all over the hallway floor.

She stood there pondering her next move for a minute even though there was only one option. If anyone were to walk past they would for sure give the girl an odd look. Luckily for her, there was only one other apartment on her floor and she hadn't seen the two boys that were supposedly living there since she had moved in a week ago.

Finally making a move, Finn began to put down the overflowing grocery bags in her right hand, leaning them up against the wall in a hope that everything would stay put. The only reason she had so much shopping was that now that she had finally settled in she thought it was time to stock up the cupboards with the necessities and things that she had forgotten about.

Using her free hand, Finnley rummaged around in her small cross shoulder bag, not hearing the approaching footsteps over the loud clutter that had accumulated in her bag. It wasn't until she had pulled out her keys and held them in front of her that she heard the two boys walking as they approached their door.

"Finally home sweet home, as much as I love Will and Brighton, I've got to admit I missed this little apartment" Tommy sighed, waiting for his flatmate to respond but never receiving an answer. He looked to his left, only to see Tubbo looking ahead, distracted.

Tommy now decided to look up as well and was shocked to see a girl standing outside of the door opposite theirs. She had a lot of grocery bags surrounding her and was rummaging through another bag with her free hand. He almost laughed at the look of achievement that came across the girl's face when she finally pulled out a key and held it in front of her in success.

It wasn't until that moment that she looked up and made eye contact with the both of them. Tommy noticed that without missing a beat she started to fiddle with the keys in her hand, rocking ever so slightly on her heels. "Hello", it was Tubbo who took the initiative to start a conversation.

Finnley smiled slightly, "hello", she responded and lifted her key holding hand to a small wave, Tommy nodded in greeting not entirely sure where to go from there. "I guess you're that girl our landlady was talking about, it's nice to meet you! My names Tubbo and this is Tommy" Tubbo was very cheery and if it had not been for the two bags he was holding, would've rushed forwards to shake her hand.

Finnley was internally freaking out, not because of her social awkwardness and anxiety (although that was playing some part) but because she knew who these two people in front of her were and she didn't quite know how to react, so she tried to be normal. She smiled awkwardly, "nice to meet you both, I'm Finnley or Finn, either works. I don't mean to make you guys uncomfortable or anything, but I um, actually know who you are".

Avoiding eye contact, she started to unlock her door, turning the key and leaving it hanging in the lock as she turned the doorknob. Their silence was making her awfully nervous and as much as she wanted to talk to the two, she also wanted the floor to open up and swallow her.

Tommy and Tubbo shared a surprised look, what were the chances that their new neighbour would know who they were. Tommy smirked slightly, "so you're a fan?", he watched in amusement as Finn turned to look back at them and shrugged, "you could say that I suppose".

"You wouldn't Dox us would you?" Tubbo asked cautiously as he now reached inside his pocket to pull out the keys to their apartment. Finnley's eyes widened, "oh no, no, I would never dream of doing that, that'd be such a horrible thing to do, and the last thing I want to do is upset anyone", Tubbo laughed, "don't worry I was just messing with you, you don't seem like the kind of person who would do that".

Finnley let out a breath she didn't know she had been holding and laughed awkwardly, "oh, well thank you? Anyway, I'd better get my ice cream in the freezer before it melts, it was nice to meet the both of you if you need anything just knock", she waved goodbye before scooping up the bags she had put down and relaxing as everything stayed in the bags. "The same here! See ya later Finnley", Tommy said and entered his apartment behind Tubbo.

The second the two boys got inside they dumped their bags in the hallway and flopped onto their couch. "So Tommy what was that." Tubbo had looked over at Tommy, eyebrows raised with a smirk on his face. "What do you mean?!", Tubbo grinned, his best mate had made the mistake of being defensive right off the bat, "you were acting a little odd out there with Finnley".

Tommy glared at Tubbo from across the couch and shook his head, "no I wasn't, I was just surprised is all", Tubbo nodded, "sure", "I was!". "Tommy if there's one thing I have learnt from living with you it's that you are one of the loudest and most confident people regardless of the situation, you hardly said anything out there!".

Tommy made eye contact with the floor, crossing his arms stubbornly, "so what, I just wasn't expecting our new neighbour to be that pretty, that's all", Tubbo's eyes widened, "you like her!". Tommy whipped his head to look at his roommate, "no you idiot! I only just met her! You can't like someone after one meeting!", "haven't you heard of love at first sight?".

Tommy gave his mate a deadpanned look, "you don't seriously believe in that shit do you?", Tubbo pouted, "I think it's sweet, besides I think it's time you got a girlfriend". Tommy looked over incredulously, "shut up, I'm going to unpack", he stood up, picking up his bags and making his way to his room. "You know I'm right!" Tubbo called out after him, laughing at how stubborn he was being. "And besides I think Finn would be a good match for you", "you've literally spoken to her once, Shut Up!" and with that he slammed his bedroom door shut, leaving Tubbo in the living room by himself.

"Idiot."
