A few more days had passed since Tommy and Finnley had gone for their walk and they had been talking on and off for the majority of said days. Mainly Tommy asking dumb questions and trying to annoy Finnley. Little did he know, that his messages made her smile every time she read them, there weren't a lot of people who would check in on her.
Her friends from school had only really been her friends because they were with each other every day. Now that they were living their own lives they had all drifted apart and her family was too busy to check in on her all the time, although they made an effort to call her at least once a week.
So Tommy messaging her every day actually helped her out a lot in regards to being lonely and distracting her from her own thoughts. Especially since she had a lot more time on her hands nowadays.
