"Guys, guess what!" Jack said as they walked in
     "What?" Henry asked
"Oscar Delancey is about to be arrested!" Lindsay enthused
     "Really?" Crutchie asked
"Yup. We told Joe what happened, and since he violated the order, he can get arrested." Jack explained
Everyone heard yelling from outside. "You don't understand! I was framed!" It was Oscar
They all rushed outside. "I didn't do anything!" He argued with the police officer who had him in handcuffs
"I think my niece and I can beg to differ." Pulitzer said
"You'll pay for this, old man! You will too, Lindsay! You were NOTHING before you met me! You still are!" He shouted at the top of his lungs
The officer took him away. "Wow." Jack said, almost bluntly
"See what I had to deal with?" She said
Her head twitched for a little, then stopped. She went to her uncle and hugged him. "Thank you." She said
     "You're welcome."
When she reached six months, she temporarily stopped selling papers. Instead, she cleaned up the place a little each day.
When the morning bell rang, she slept a little bit, then got up after everyone left. She found a broom in a closet that hadn't been used since it was built. She swept the floors and gathered up three inches of dust. By the time she swept about half the place, everyone was back. "So this is what you've been doing all day?" Specs asked
"Pretty much. Figured if I can't sell stuff, might as well take on the role of literally every other girl in New York."
"Ay, a new century's coming. Your cousin said the game's changing." Race said
"Well, I guess it really would take about three months to clean this place up." Said Specs
"Are we that messy?" Crutchie asked
Everyone looked down and thought for a moment. "Nah." They all said
"Really, Twitch, I don't understand how you can be on your feet all day. Almost every other pregnant woman I've ever seen on the street is miserable." Romeo said
"I've been through some stuff." She explained
The next day, she finished sweeping the rest of the place. After that, she picked up the bathrooms a little. They weren't too bad, just smelly. The boys were couscous enough to at least try to keep the place clean. It went on like that for three months.
