Summary: Pepper had a tough day and found her calm.
(A/N: thought that i should write this since my friend accidentally fell asleep on their laptop and now i have to wait for them to wake up uhue anyways here's a new story and something at the end of the story)

"Wednesday, 10am? Alright, I'll be there. See you later." Pepper put down the last phone call of that day. She was having a busy week as the Stark Industries CEO.
There has been tons of call since Monday and its already Friday. Calls keep coming in for her interview about the latest Stark Laptop. She lean back on her chair and call her assistant.
"Miss Gwen, you may call it a day. We had a pretty busy week. Enjoy your weekend and don't receive any work calls. We both deserve a well-rest weekends." She massage her temple, trying to reduce the pressure.
"Sure, Miss Potts. Is that all? If so, I'll tell Happy to take you home." Gwen pull up her phone. "Yes please, thanks Gwen. You've been helping me the most this week." She pack her stuff and put on her heels.
"No worries, Miss Potts. I'm at your service." She smiled while calling Happy and heading out from the room. Pepper really want to be home and be with Tony so she could ease her mind.
She enter the car and ask Hapoy to drive off from the facility. "It ain't easy to become a CEO, huh?" Happy said.
"It never is. I don't know how Tony handled everything, I can barely hndle a single thing, oh my god."
"Well, Tony got his own way so, yeah." Happy shrugged his shoulder. "Tony is different. Its just kind of hard but I think I got it managed, right?"
"You did managed it, Pep." He keep driving to the tower.
When they reach the tower, Pepper waved off Happy and head to the penthouse. She take off her heels and put her purse on the kitchen island. "Honey, I'm home!" Pepper shouted.
She look around to find Tony but he wasn't there. Must've been in the lab again.
She was about to step into the elevator when she saw a teenager boy with brown curly hair standing in front of her. "Oh, Miss Potts! Sorry, I should head back down." Pepper just tilted her head in confusion.
The door was about to close but Pepper hold it and step into the elevator. "I'll just head out, have a-"
"No, don't worry. I'm just looking for Tony." She explained. She observe the kid. He wear a kind of big dark blue sweater with a plaid shirt underneath. He does look like he's wearing a working outfit but he looks way too young.
"How old are you?" Pepper asked. Its just weird to see a man who is too young, almost looking a teenager. "I'm 15 years old." He answered.
She widen her eyes while looking at the boy. "What? How come you have access to the tower?"
"Mr. Stark gave me permission. I'm Peter Parker, by the way. Mr. Stark's intern." He shook his hand with Pepper.
"An intern having an access to the penthouse?" The question escaped from her lips. "Yeah, I guess." Peter starts to feel the panic kicking in.
"I'm s-sorry. I can leave n-now if you wa-want." He panicked. "No, no. Its alright. I have something to talk to with Tony." Pepper pull him from the elevator and went into Tony's lab. "Tony?"
"Ah, yes, Pep. Welcome home, sorry I w- oh." He came to his fear when he saw Pepper holding Peter beside her.
"Is this your intern?" She asked for reassurance. "Yeah, Peter Parker. High level IQ so why not." He shrugged his shoulders.
"Are you nuts? A 15-years-old kid!? He could get hurt in the lab, Tony." She sighed in frustration. "Trust me, the kid is cool. Really cool." He put his thumbs up.
"Its doesn't matter, he's 15!" Pepper got concerned about the boy. "Well, Peter never gets hurt in the lab. Unless if you saw scratches on his palm or knees then he's clumsy." He laughed. Peter just chuckled but got scared when Pepper hold his shoulder.
"I'm stress enough with this week's stuffs, we'll have this conversation later." She shook her head and head to the exit but Tony stop her.
"Peter, can you head up? I'll come up soon after you." Tony said.
Peter just obey Tony and he went to the penthouse. "Pep, listen. I know its crazy but Peter is the best! He's a genius and all, he's a fit to be my intern. Trust me, the Stark Laptop? He helped me with it." He explained.
"But the fact that you hired a 15-years-old kid is the craziest one." Pepper shook his head.
"Please, Pep. He changed me, he helped me when you weren't there. I think of him as my own kid. Give him a chance, Pep. He's a really good kid, I promise you." Tony look at her in the eyes.
Pepper couldn't resist Tony's gaze. "Fine, but please, make sure he's doing fine. We don't want an injured kid, do we?" Pepper smiled while kissing Tony's forehead.
When they came up to the penthouse, they heard a snuffles coming from the kitchen. "Peter? What happened? Are you alright?" Tony asked.
"I have to leave sooner or later, right?" He cried. Pepper immediately rush toward him and hug him. "No, you won't be, I was just afraid if a kid got injured. The lab is filled with tons of dangerous tools, you know that, right?" Pepper stroked his hair.
"I'm sorry, I really am sorry for crying." It only makes Peter cried more.
"Don't be, you did nothing wrong. Its alright, we just want to make sure that you're safe." Pepper assured him. Peter ened up hugging Pepper back, making Tony jealous. Traitor. He sync his lips with the word.
Pepper pull Peter away from the hug. "Now, are you hungry? Because I'm starving to death." Pepper smiled while wiping the tears off of Peter's face.
"No, I'm not." But the grumbling stomach could be heard. "Liar, you only ate a sandwich since 2 pm, its like 8pm now."
"I only have 15$ but its for my ride home." Peter look down on his foot. "I could just eat at home." He didn't dare to look up. "Your aunt is working the night shifts. Impossible." Peter sighed at Tony's answer.
"Come on, I'm Tony Stark, a billionaire. A 200$ meal is nothing for me." He tapped on Peter's shoulder.
"I feel bad for spending people's money, my aunt taught me that I shouldn't spend people's money."
Tony roll his eyes and sigh. "How about we have grill and shabu shabu tonight? I'm craving some." Pepper suggested.
They all agree so she put out the meats and prepare them. She look over to them who's fighting about how to put the grill and hotspot station. She just laugh it off looking at two dumbasses fighting over grill and hotspot positions.
"I hope this calm will last forever."
