Chapter thirteen

*The next day*

I woke up to the buzzing of my phone. I grab my phone that was on my desk, and unlock it. I see that i had two missed texts from Shawn. I slightly smiled.

Hey

Was the first text

Can't sleep, WE KISSED LAST NIGHT! : )

Was the second text was. I blushed and made a small giggle.Then another text from Shawn.

You up yet?

Texted Shawn

Yeah i'm up

I texted

Was that kiss? Did it mean anything to you, not that i'm complaing or anything, but what about you?

Texted Shawn

Yes it did mean something to me, what abou you?

I texted

It meant the world to me!

Texted Shawn making me laugh.

Awe, i gotta get ready for school.

I texted

Okay, but I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date later?

Texted Shawn

I would love to go on a date.

I texted smiling

Cool, i'll see ya later.

Texted Shawn

I turned off my phone. I grabbed a pillow from behind me  put it in my face, and sreamed in happiness. I was soo happy. I didn't even know why, but i was and i wanted it to stay that way.

(Shawn's pov)

I couldn't believe it! Maddie Sarah Horan was gonna go on a date with me! I was soo happy. I turned off my phone and grabbed my guitar. I started to strum a few keys in a happiness. Then i sang beautiful soul by Jesse mcartney, because that song reminded me of her the most.

"I don't wanna another pretty face, i don't want just someone to hold, i don't want my love to go to waste, i want you and your beautiful soul." I sang then i heard clapping coming from the hallway. I stopped playing and looked in the hallway to see my mom smiling,"Hey mom." I said smiling,"You sang beautifully as always, but why are you in such a good mood?" Asked my mom. i chuckled,"Because Maddie and I are going on a date later." I said excited,"Awe, i'm so happy for you two, i can tell you really like her." Said my mom,"Yeah, i do." I said nodding. My mom smiles at me,"Can i hear more?" Asked my mom. I smile at her,"Here i've been working on a song." I said then played the song for her.

I got dressed in some black shorts, a white long sleeve shirt, some black converse, a white beanie, and left my hair down. I was letting my hair down more often, because the weather was just right. I grabbed my book bag, my phone, and my gym bag and went downstairs. i grabbed an apple from the bowl that was in the middle of the table,"Ready to go?" Asked Mike,"Yeah." I said grabbing a water bottle from the fridge. We got into Mike's car, and went on our way to the school.

*At the school*

It was my sixth hour and it was study hall. I was working on some of my homework, when someone from behind me slides there arms across the table, making all of my books fall to the ground. I turn around and see Spencer, who was pretty pissed off. The teacher was out of the room, so he had the chance to act like a bad ass. He looked deep into my eyes with anger,"What the hell?" I asked taking a chance to act like a bad ass as well,"You're going on a date with him?" Asked Spencer angrily,"who told you!" I said also getting angry,"No one! I over heard Shawn talking to Alan and Ariana, what heck!" Shouted Spencer,"You need time my ass!" Shouted Spencer,"You know what, i chose who i wanna be with, so deal with it!" I shouted,"fine, i tried but you've been such a bitch! I don't even care anymore." Shouted Spencer,"Great! Just leave me alone!" I shouted. Spencer's chest was jumping up and down in anger,"I love you...and you just keep hurting me...you're such a bitch!" Shouted Spencer making me cry. He ran out of the room. I couldn't belive what just happened, i needed to be alone. I looked around and saw that everyone was staring at me. Shawn walks in and sees me crying. i ran past him and out the door,"Maddie!" Shouted Shawn. I kept on crying and ran down the hallway. I stopped into a small corner and slid against the wall and hit the ground. I put my face in my knees and began to sob,"Maddie?" Asked  girlish voice. I look up to see Nikki, who was really confused,"Hey." I said still sobbing,"Oh, what happened?" Asked Nikki sitting next to me. I sniffed my nose,"Spencer called me a bitch." I said wanting to cry again,"Why?" Asked Nikki. I told her everything that had happened,"what?" Asked Nikki,"It's fine." I said my nose sniffling again,"NO IT'S NOT FINE! WHERE IS HE?" Asked Nikki.
