Chaptet two

*After gym*

I walked outside to the parking lot and waited until i saw Shawn. I looked around the parking lot waiting for a few minutes, then i saw Shawn. He was smiling, which made me smile. I ran over towards him,"Hey." I said. Shawn's smile grew as i ran up to him,"Hey." He said walking towards me. We stopped in the middle of parking lot and looked at each other,"Hey." I said,"Hey." Said Shawn sming,"So, i was wondering if you wanted to go hang out?" I asked,"Sure, what do you wanna do?" Asked Shawn,"Um, we could grab something to eat? Go to the park and shoot a few hoops?" I said,"Yeah, that sounds like fun." Said Shawn,"I can pick you up at six?" Said Shawn,"Sure." I said then my brother drives up honking his horn,"I gotta go, but i'll see ya later." I said then ran to Mike's car and we were on our way home. I couldn't wait to hang out with Shawn, it's been so long and i just wanna know how he's been.

(Shawn's pov)

I was walking home when i got a text from my mom.

Hey honey can you pick up some milk on your way home?

Texted my mom

Sure thing mom

I texted

I turned off my phone and walked over towards a store. I bought some milk and went on my way home. I was really looking forward to seeing Maddie. She looks soo amazing. I really liked her, but she apparently got back together with Spencer. I hope she and i are good friends. I wish she still liked me, because i still have feelings for her, and i don't think i can just make them go away.

(Back to Maddie's pov)

I was laying on my stomach, on my bed, listening to some music. I was wearing some grey sweats and a black hoodie. I was interupted by a pillow hitting me in face,"Hey!" I shouted really annoyed,"How else was i gonna get your attetion, you always have your music up too loud?" Asked Mike no angry too. I get up from my bed and walk towards him. I tap on his shoulder,"Hey here's a way to get your attention." I said like a dumb jock,"Haha your sooo funny." Said Mike,"I know, what do you want?" I asked,"Mom wants you downstairs." Said Mike walking out of my room and going to his room.

I walked downstairs and saw my mom holding Jonah,"What's up?" I asked her,"I heard about Shawn." She said,"How?" I asked,"Your brother told me." Said mom,"Jonah how could you." I said then we both laughed,"So?" Asked my mom,"So?" I asked,"Do you wanna talk about it?" Asked my mom,"What is there to talk about?" I asked,"I mean, didn't you dump this guy?" Asked my mom,"We weren't even dating, and yeah, but we're friends, just friends." I said then went to the kitchen to get something to eat.

(Shawn's pov)

I got home. I lived in a manthon. Yeah i know, i sound like a rich kid, and i probably am, but it's a manthon, so i'm calling it that. I came in and went to the kitchen where my mom was,"Hey mom, i got you the milk." I said," thanks honey." Said my mom grabbing the milk from my hand,"So how was your first day, my little freshman?" Asked my mom as she walks towards her coffee with the milk chug that she now opened. I sat down at the counter chairs and took a deep breath,"That bad?" Asked my mom,"No, actually... I saw Maddie again." I said,"Really? And?" She asked,"we're gonna hang out latter." I said taking an apple from the bowl in the middle of the table and taking a big bite out of it,"Hang out? As in a date?" Asked my mom,"I wish, but no, just as friends." I said with apple still in my mouth,"You wish? I thought this girl broke your heart?" Asked my mom,"She did, but...i don't know how to explain it." I said,"even though she broke your heart, your still crazy for her." Said my mom,"Are you a mind reader?" I asked and made her laugh,"No, i just understand." Said my mom taking a sip out of her coffee,"I'm gonna go upstairs." I said grabbing my bag and a pepsi. I walked upstairs and threw my stuff on the ground next to my closet.
