Chapter 11

I woke up, expecting to see my cottage and Stacey out the window. But that became a memory. I was in Alex's apartment, in my room. It was sort of warm and light poured in through the windows. I smelled....cooked chicken?
I almost forgot, I stopped eating meat. I got out of bed and sleepily walked towards the kitchen. "Oh, look who's awake." Said Alex with a smile. "I've got something for you." She handed me something translucent blue that glittered and sparkled very brightly. It had a gold surface on the back of it that held it tightly. The gold surface on the back was decorated with many of the object, but they were smaller and green. And in the center of the gold surface was a tiny crystal that was white and best of all, it changed color. I looked at Alex.
"I-I don't know what to say. It's beautiful, I've never seen anything like it. Thank you so much Alex." I say."But only I don't know what it is."
"You're welcome." She answers."That blue tinted shimmering object that is held by the gold surface is a diamond. The rarest object in minecraft. Found by mining. The green ones on the back are also found by mining, they are called emeralds. Pretty rare, but not rarer than diamonds. You can get them from villagers, but I mined these so I could have put some effort for a friend. And the tiny color changing crystal is prismarine, I dived into the deepest oceans to find it."
I gasp."Alex,you didn't have to, and when did you have time to get all this?!"I exclaim.
"A long time ago, took me 4 months to get everything to make it. I have bin saving it for someone who I really like."She explained.
A masculine voice came from outside the kitchen. "Good morning. Do I smell chicken?"Steve came into the kitchen right after that.
"Oh! I almost forgot!" She exclaimed. She ran to the stove to find the chicken burned. "I guess we will all be vegan today."She said. There was a teeny bit of disappointment in her tone. "Cheer up, Alex, it's just a chicken, besides, what's so bad about eating vegetarian?" He said.
"I guess so."
"So, what's that?" Steve said,pointing at the diamond in my hand.
"You know what it is,Steve." Alex Said.
I kept staring at the prismarine crystal.
"Oh and if you really like the prismarine, I can take you underwater to show you the prismarine kingdom later." She says.
"I would love to." I say. And I would also love to shapeshift again, it makes me feel amazing. I would go into a field where no one can see me do it.
"Alex, would you mind if I go outside for a stroll?Not in the city, but in a forest or grassland."I say.
"But what about breakfast?"She asks.
I smile." I don't feel like eating anything anyways."
"Okay."

I made my way out the city, then found a perfect spot. It was in a forest, in the midst of the green trees and blue sky and green fuzz on the ground called grass. I willed myself to become an enderman, and sat down. I don't know why, but doing that gives me a great feeling. My arms grew longer, and so did my legs, and my hands and feet disappeared. I turned black, and my hair disappeared too. Then I heard someone chopping down a tree, then an ear splitting scream. Oh, not again. I teleported away and sat down. About a half hour later, I heard footsteps behind me. I turned and looked behind me, and froze in horror.
Standing in front of my eyes with a paper in his hand, was Steve.
"But how-?" He said.
