A/N
Excuse the drawing, I'm terrible at drawing people, especially back views, and digital art is super hard. So that's the best I could do. Well, that's kind of not the gown (that Cecilia is going to wear, well later you'll know what I'm talking about), I was too lazy to do the design, though I prefer the term 'sleepy'. I will post the gown's design next chapter.

No. It couldn't be. But the thunder stopped rumbling ahead, but the flame was still at Chelsea's house. But if this was premonition, I wouldn't want to go there.

I sat up and opened the pink curtains. I blinked at the Sun. It was still kind of windy though, but not enough to keep everyone in. It was normal with people walking around, though, the ground was still soggy and muddy from the rain. Other than that, I needed fresh air.

I unlocked my window and extended my arms to push it open. A gust of cool air came in. That's what I call 'fresh' air. The air had a tinge of humidity. Just the perfect amount. Not too dry, not too wet. I loved these days. Sunny, windy, cool air, there was nothing more like it.

I stepped out the room and to the door. The keys were on the arm of the couch. I grabbed them and unlocked the door. It felt even better to be outside than just open the window. Even though the skies were clear, the trees were rustling with the breeze. It was amazing-

I slipped off the mud and..err...landed in the mud. I got my entire back muddy. I got up and went through the door and into my room. I got out my white hoodie and put it on, and decided to soak the black one in the river later.

I decided I was too lazy to go outside again. I sat on my bed and looked through the window. Several people flaunted a golden piece of paper. It looked like an invitation. To what?

As if on cue (I use that too much, don't I?), Alex came through my door. "Look what I found in the mailbox!" She showed me three gold tickets. "Invitations to the Gala at the castle in celebration of the Queen's daughter!"

Gala? Doesn't that mean I have to find a date? "What do you say?" Asked Alex.

"Err... Sure." I said hesitantly.

Noticing the worry on my face, Alex, to my relief, said, "And no, you don't have to find a date." I flushed a little.

"So, when will we get the gowns, and where?"

"I'll handle that. We'll get them 'round t'day if ya wanna know." She said, laughing at the southern accent she faked. Then she walked out of the room. I slumped on the bed, above the blankets, and sighed. My life was so complicated. How was I to wear a weapons belt at a gala?

The chance the Shudiens will try to capture me at the Gala is very high, since almost everyone will be there. So I need to have my weapons belt. Carrying a small blade in a handbag is not a choice since it isn't very protective. Then I got it. Potions. I could get potions of invincibility, potions of harming, lots of ender pearls (since shapeshifting in public isn't a good idea, I prefer teleporting directly), and a few explosives. Not to bomb up the party or something, but to throw the explosives at a group of Shudiens.

They can all be placed in a handbag, since they aren't that big. Then it was set. Mission GAMSWAYCWGCATG (Get as much small weapons as you can without getting caught at the Gala) was to be attempted.

Alex and I were at a shop for gowns at the city. All the shops were having a sale because of the Gala.

"That one looks amazing." I said, pointing at a purple sparkling gown made of silk. The pinkish purple skirt flowed around the mannequin's legs. The upper part of it was divided into three parts, all the same color and size except the middle one, which was larger, and a gorgeous lavender. The other parts were dark purple.

Alex smiled. "Always in love with purple. It's amazing, though. You should definitely get it."

I went to the rack that had these dresses and grabbed one my size. I put it in the shopping cart along with Alex's gown and hurried to the woman at the counter.

Little did I know that this Gala would change my life. Forever....
