I wake to the noise of growls again, but this time, it's the noise of burning monsters. The green things and the ones with the bow burned in the sunlight of the sunrise. I felt great comfort. The teleporting thingies and the exploding ones were left behind, they seemed aware of me though. And the things with eight legs seemed to ignore me. I should build a shelter. For a house, I need plenty of of one item. But I only have 5 of each. I try to do something out of each item to kind of duplicate my blocks but it didn't work, until, I found an item labeled sapling. I put it into the dirt. Nothing happens, I decide to just leave it there, it makes the area look better. Then,I try to get something out of my pickaxe, but nothing happens. I give up, I will just lay there, alone, no shelter, and live a life of utter boredom. At least I have a harmless living creature with me, the sapling. I look at it and gasp in surprise. Instead of the sapling, stands a beautiful sight, the base made of wood and has lots of tiny green things. I guess I can get more wood out of the saplings. I try to chop off the wood using my pickaxe, but it makes no effort. I search for a tool to chop of the wood. I find a strange tool that has a shape that looks like it can wedge the wood out, it was labeled 'axe'.I try it out and it works, I get more wood. I keep my pickaxe close to me in case anything comes to harm me. While I chop off the wood, I get more saplings, great! These saplings can supply me with so much wood. I plant about 20 saplings close to each other, and when they grow, they form a beautiful sight. I figure out that you can use a tool named 'bonemeal' to grow grass and heavy scented flowers. I plant the grass and flowers near the trees and I get a beautiful garden, a supplier of wood and beauty. I look at my masterpiece with pride. I am ready to build a house. I make a 16x16 block square and build layers of it that are hollow from the inside, and I cut a two block tall hole through the wall and place a small plank of wood that can be swung open and closed. It was labeled 'door'. I go inside the house and place my sleeping item. I look above me. The house has no top, if it rains, there will be no shelter, and the monster with eight legs can go through that hole in the ceiling. I stack some wood above each other and stand on them, now I can reach the space where the ceiling is supposed to be. I cover it with wood and come back down. After I come down, I make an underground storage room, very big and fit every single block in Minecraft in it. While I do that, I examine the properties of the blocks and think about what they can be used for, I also learned their names. I find an amazing block named glass that can be used to make a part of my home that is protective, but I can also see what is outside. I have made a beautiful home, alone, and with a very small supply of items.
