There I was, sitting on my bed again, working with prismarine. The potion did quadruple the effect I thought it would. I put a few drops on a piece of green wool cloth and wiped the crystal with it. It shimmered more than a diamond would. That brings the question.. What would happen if I wiped the diamond with it?
I grabbed the cloth, placed three drops of the potion, and wiped the diamond repeatedly. Even at the gold plate on its back. When the light came in through the window and hit the diamond, it reflected into my face. I had to look away. It was too bright. But look! It attracted attention. It might get stolen. Again.
I felt a tiny flash that sent a chill through me and goosebumps. It was like.. My instincts were warning me of something. But what?
That was it. I needed to be armed twenty-four hours. So I got a piece of purple leather, cut it into a long strip, then attached a buckle. I put it around my waist, then attached a black leather sheath to it. Then I got my diamond sword and placed it in the sheath. Perfect. Now it's a weapon belt.
I walked out of my room and sat on the teal colored couch. Alex looked up from the book her head was still in.
"That's a nice belt." She said. "By the way, have you seen Steve?"
"No," I said, shaking my head. Where was he? "I will go find him."
I hurried to the door and threw it open. Once I got out, I slammed it shut. I looked around. The sky was dim, and there weren't many people outside. The wind was a bit strong though, and the trees rustled. "Steve? Steve! Where are you!?" I called out.
Something brushed my back. I whipped around quickly, yanking my sword out of its sheath. I brought it forward-
"Whoah there! It's just me!" Said Steve. I put the sword back in its sheath. That was a close one. The sword was an inch away from his face!
"Where were you?" I asked.
"Just out for a walk, until the clouds were forming, grey clouds to be exact, and the wind speed was picking up. Come on. There's a storm coming up." He warned.
He pulled me through the door and slammed it shut, locking it.
"Alex, I think a storm is forming. And it isn't going to be pretty." He panted. "We have to lock all the windows and doors or they will be slammed open by the wind."
As if on cue, I heard a deafening clap following a flash in the sky. A thunder storm. The windows were drenched with water and slammed open. Water poured in.
"Quick! Come on! We have to lock them!" I said, hurrying to the window on my right. The lock was open. I pushed on it, until it clicked in place. For no apparent reason, I felt a sense of déjà vu.
"Come on, Cecilia! There's no time for staring!" Yelled Alex. "The rain would flood the house if we don't do this as fast as we can!"
I looked outside. She was right. It wasn't even a drizzle. The rain was pouring in sheets now. I locked the next window, and the next, and the next. Then we were done.
"I'm going to bed." I muttered and walked towards my room.
I opened the door to it, and found the floor drenched. I locked the window in a second. When I looked outside it, there was something terrible. Thunder bolts struck the ground, starting a fire where it hit. When they struck the water, whoever was in it got a deadly electric shock. This wasn't any normal storm. This storm was a matter of life and death. A thunderbolt struck the ground right next to my window.
I felt extreme heat for a moment, and staggered backwards. In the distance, I saw Chelsea's Enchantry and Brewery. It was a part of her house. It was struck by several lightning bolts repeatedly. It was like the aim of the storm. The reason the storm happened. Nonsense, I said to myself.
But still, if she was in her house, then she is dead. I had to get her out of there. I hurried out of my room, wincing at every thunder strike.
I twisted and twisted at the doorknob, but it wasn't opening. The keys. I heard their ringing behind me. I looked behind me. Alex was there, her arms crossed, the keys dangling from her hand.
"And where do you think you're going?" She said bitterly. A cold look was plastered on her face.
"I-I..Chelsea." I said.
She looked confused. "What?" She asked.
"Her house, you didn't see how many times it was struck by lightning. Repeatedly." I said.
She frowned."So you plan to commit suicide? Not happening." She said in the same bitter tone.
"Please!" I said. "She'll die!"
"You're not going anywhere! You're staying here, Cecilia! And nowhere else till that storm ends! It's already dangerous enough being out there! Let alone go to Chelsea's house! I've seen it! It was in flames! Lightning struck it like crazy! But... You're staying here!" She yelled.
I stared at her and ran into my room. She can't just lock me into her house! I threw myself on the bed. I wrapped the blankets around me and dozed off.

I woke up in the middle of the night, my worries taking over me. But still I have to get Chelsea out of her house, or at least check if she's in there! I unlocked the window and jumped outside. I left it unlocked so I can come back in.I was drenched. I pulled my hoodie over my head and walked toward the Enchantry and Brewery. Fear surged through me, leaving me shivering.
I set step on the doormat and opened the door a peek. Chelsea was with a blonde woman, they seemed to be fighting and arguing together.
The blonde woman immediately looked at me and seethed,"Shapeshifter."
I looked at Chelsea. Was..was she.. A Shudien? Thankfully, my worries were confirmed untrue when she said, "Leave her alone, you can't just go around picking people with abilities. You are disgusting, you judgmental jerk!"
Above me, a thunderbolt ripped through the sky and tore through the ceiling. It almost struck the blonde woman hadn't she jumped out of the way. The wind speed picked up again. A fire was building up, and the house was made of wood-
"Cecilia, get out." Said Chelsea through gritted teeth.
"But-but.."
"OUT!"
"You have to get out of here! It isn't safe, all the lightning strikes here and-"
As if on cue, a lightning bolt came blasting down through the hole in a ceiling and came straight for me- Chelsea pushed me out of the way. I almost landed in a tongue of flame.
"It is as safe here as everywhere. It's not the only place getting struck. Now out." She seethed.
"That's a lie, our house didn't get struck except once, and it wasn't even on the house, it was next to it."
A lightning bolt came down, an inch away from me, blasting me backward into the fire. The burning. So much pain tears were already flowing, followed by a scream of mine. The blonde woman poured a bucket of water over me, and pushed me outside.
Drenched again. At least the rain water was cold. It lessened the pain of the burn. My entire back was scorched. And I was thirsty. I stuck out my tongue, the rain splashing down on it, an amazing sensation.
I walked to the house in silence, staring. I laid my hand on my room's window, and pushed it open. Only it didn't open. It was locked. How, when I left it unlocked? Then I saw her. Alex was there, inside my room, an evil smile on her face.
I ran to the door, banging on it. It opened, to meet Alex, swinging the sword into my face-
