I gave Alex a thumbs up to show her how I loved the kingdom. Alex swam forward and swung her pickaxe that seemed to come out of nowhere backwards. She struck it on one of the blocks from the castle, and a few pieces of prismarine fell out.
She handed them over to me. I held this in my hands, and tilted it so the prismarine shards could shine and change color.
Unfortunately, I tilted my hand at a high angle. The shards slowly went downwards toward the ocean bed. I swam after them, waving my arms infront of me, then put them to my sides, then back again. Then something caught at the back of my hoodie.
I whipped my head around, sending ripples of bubbles through the water. I saw it was only Alex. She handed me a larger pile of shards, then I understood that she meant that these shards weren't that important, and that we could get more.
But I decided that I want a chunk, not shards. I gave Alex the shards, and mined out a block of prismarine, then gestured for Alex to go back home.
Time Skip cause YOLO.
As we walked back home, we were drenching wet. My clothes were dripping, and so was my hair. But eventually,we dried. When we entered the house, Steve was staring at us.
"Where were you? Why did you leave without me? I was so worried. Why didn't you at least tell me where you're going?"
"Woah, Steve. We just got some prismarine from underwater, that's all." I added,"I'm going to have a little rest in my room."
I sat on the bed, admiring the diamond I received from Alex, and the prismarine chunk. There was a dull thud, and a similar noise from last night. I must me hearing things.
Then, there was the noise repeating itself again, louder this time. I jumped. I'm definitely not hearing things. I sensed movement out the window, then a noise that sounded like a hiss.
I went toward the window, tucking the diamond in my pocket, and giving the prismarine chunk a death grip. I held the prismarine chunk in front of me and saw that my knuckles were white.
I opened the window.
Something jabbed me harshly in the back, and I toppled forward, out the window. Immediately, there was a diamond sword at my throat.
"Don't move." Said a harsh voice. I looked up, and saw that the wielder was fully armored in diamond armor. And there were also a few people behind her.
The wielder had striking green eyes, slight freckles, and that's all I could see.
"Don't move." She repeated. "And we won't hurt you."
I glared at her. "What do you want from me?"
"It's simple. We want you, shapeshifter."
"I have a name." I spat. "And I can easily shapesh-" I was cut off.
"You know why I have this sword on your throat. Now don't move, and shut the hell up." She spat back.
She began moving forward, bringing me with her, the sword STILL on my throat. I can tell she and the rest work with the people who invaded the tradeplace.
She put me onto a horse, tied me onto it, and rode horse next to me, and that damn sword was still on my throat. In a second, she removed the sword and held a bow, with the string pulled back, and the aim was my head.
The horses began to run, quite fast, actually, and I heard voices behind us. Two voices. Familiar ones.
Alex and Steve.
