I clasped the gold chain around my neck. The diamond dangled from it, shining uncontrollably as it rested on my collarbone.
I held a black handbag with all my 'equipment' inside. I placed an extra small knife inside it, just in case.
Then, I slipped my feet into black flats. Because I can't fight in heels, Never mind walk in them. Such a horrifying thought. (Yes, Sarcasm intended).
The skirt of the gown gorgeously flowed around my ankles as I walked to the mirror. My hair was fixed in an amazing bun, with a small diamond on the side of my hair.
I had a black eyeshadow, tinted a dark blue at the corners. My waterline was lined with white eyeliner. My eyelashes were perfectly curled, then blackened with mascara. My purple irises seemed to pop out more than usual, and looked unnaturally bright in contrast with the other colors.
"Cecilia! Are you ready?" Alex called out from out the room.
"Yeah! Just a moment!"
I opened my purse and checked if everything is inside. And everything was.
Slowly, I walked to the door and opened it, the bottom of the door almost tripping me over. I went through it, saying, "Ready."
I twirled around in my dress playfully. I had told them about my plan. They said it was a bad idea and that I might get caught, but I insisted.
I gave each of us an Ender Pearl and we teleported to the Gala Hall or whatever it's called. That way, the guards won't have to search us and find out that I have equipment.
The Gala Hall was huge. It was a creamy white, adorned with royal blue decorations. At the other end of the Hall, were two temporary thrones. In the middle, was a gigantic blue cake laid on a fine acacia wood table. One for the King and one for the Queen. The King stood up.
Everyone tipped their heads forward. I looked around, confused, until Alex pushed me a little, making me lean. Beside him, the Queen looked at me for a moment.
I stood up again with the crowd. "We gather here, to celebrate the birth of my first daughter, or rather second daughter, after the death of my first daughter, who died before birth as you all know."
He looked sad. The Queen started talking. "For those who do not know, the Great War had occurred four years ago. It was a time of great depression. We had discovered a hole in the barrier, or wall, between worlds we wished to expand or empire and colony into that world. But unfortunately, it was already another's territory, ruled by Queen Pyra. She was greatly angry at us. We wished to apologize for attempting to expand our empire into her territory. But our forgiveness was not earned. She started a war."
The King's eyes softened as he started talking again. "During the war, it was discovered that my wife was pregnant. As you all know, only Queens get pregnant. Other than that, its spawnage. As I was saying, she was pregnant. But she had to fight. Both she and I led our army in the fore, where the chance if survival is always the thinnest. She almost died, but was healed. And when our son was born, instantly, he was gone..."
The King leaned backward on his throne. "We have not time for sorrow." He said sternly. "For the past lies in the past. Now, a great celebration is being held. For now, a new child is born, and the future of our empire lies in her hands."
The Queen hurried in a back door and came out with a cute baby.

We came out through the grand gates, laughing about a joke. "That was fun!" I said. "Let's have a little walk before we go back home."
"I'm going to go pick some flowers." Said Alex.
"I'm going to do some business." Said Steve, blushing. He went back into the Hall through the toilet section.
And I'm going to just enjoy the view of the city in the distance. I thought. I sat down, knees up, watching the sun hide behind the towers as it started to set. I buried my head into my knees.
Sometimes I should really appreciate moments like this. I guess no one came for me after all. The sun was hidden below the horizon, bathing the sky in a beautiful, yet dazing reddish orange. I undid my hair and let it flow with the wind.
I walked around slowly as the night came. I sat beneath the trees, looking at the stars. A large one flew across the sky very speedily and hid below the horizon.
Make a wish. I thought. "I wish. I wish that I could be accepted by society, and that I would never be chased by the Shudiens." I whispered quietly.
I looked to my right. There was a motion in the shadows, and a rustling in the leaves of the tree.
"I guess your wish will never come true.." Said a hushed voiced.
"What? Who's there?" I asked nervously, my nails digging at my handbag's zipper. "Show yourself right now!"
"I've warned the King and Queen, you know, they've always bin aware of Shapeshifters. And they would do anything to eliminate one after the Great War." Said the voice again.
"Show yourself!" I repeated.
"You wouldn't like that. I'm pretty sure you won't."
That was it. I unzipped the purse, grabbing the invincibility potion...
It was knocked out of my hand by an invisible force. Then it floated up, and was poured into thin air, then disappearing. The person was invisible. I was sent flying forward, falling to my knees."Invincibility, invisibility, strength, swiftness, and power potions drunk all at once. What's better?" Said the voice again.
"The army is by my side. The government is not against the Shudiens. They're willing to help us. But this time, our mission is not to experiment on them."I was on the ground, back upward, an invisible foot placed on my back. "It's to kill them." The voice said into my ear. "But I'm going to help your nightmare come true, because today, will be the day you will never forget."
Something splashed onto my back- a potion, maybe - and I felt myself change. Shifting, my shoulder blades a lot sharper, me rising above the ground. And it truly was the day I never forgot.
I was the Ender Dragon.
