32. Another Surprise

Chapter 32

"Good morning Zayn." I said as I entered the kitchen. My feet hurt like crazy and our little baby boy was giving me a hard time. "Good morning love." He said kissing my lips. Elle was with Julia today. "Are you ready for today?" He asked as we got into the car and drove off. "I guess so."

***Management's Office***

"Do you two know why your here?" A man in a suit asked. "No. If it has anything to do with McKenna, then I take full blame for it." Zayn said worried. I gave him and 'aww' and smiled. "Haha no, it's nothing to do with McKenna." The man said making us both sit down in front of him. "Well. We just received news that Zayn, your family's good family friend's daughter died in a car accident with her fiancé. We all decided, with the help of your family, they we would all like to give you full custody of their daughter Chloe." He say smiling. "What? Why?" Zayn asked look over at me. "I don't know. I guess you just seemed like a great person to leave her child with. You have McKenna, and we thought that since you guys already have Elle...maybe another wouldn't harm." The man said. Zayn looked like he was about to freak out. "Can Zayn and I just discuss this real quick. This is happening too fast..." I asked standing up. "Yea sure go ahead." The man said typing away on his laptop.

"McKenna, I don't know what to do." Zayn said leaning over to hug me. "I thought you said you always wanted another child." I said rubbing his back. "I do. And I want to adopt this child, but I don't want to make it hard on you." He said looking into my eyes. "Zayn, I'm about as excited as you are! Having another child around isn't going to do anything to me." I laughed. He smiled at me. "Thanks." He said as he held my hand and we walked back in. "So what do you two say?" The man asked smiling. "We'll take the child!" We both said at the same time. "Great!" He said smiling. "Come back tomorrow and we'll have the adoption papers ready." He said standing up and shaking our hands. I smile at Zayn, I couldn't believe our family was growing.
