35. The Time Has Come

Chapter 35

"I'm going to go use the bathroom real quick." I said getting up from the couch. "Okay, come back though." Zayn said looking at the tv. I walked over to the bathroom, and felt a huge pain in my lower region. Whatever, it was probably just the baby kicking...right? I was about to unzip my pants when I felt a warm liquid come down my pants. I quickly opened the door and ran/walked out of the bathroom, but almost fell over when I felt the pain again. I was in labor. I could feel it. "Zayn!" I screamed from the hallway. "Babe what's wrong?" He asked appearing in 2 minutes. I grabbed hold of him. "My water just broke! I'm about to have the baby!" I screamed? I said, as I half supported myself up. Zayn's eyes doubled in size, when he finally realized that I was in labor. "Okay. Lets go." He said taking me outside to the car and buckling me in.

***At the Hospital***

"Okay just a 2 more pushes." The doctor said. I grabbed Zayn's hand and pushed as hard as I could. I stopped and looked up at Zayn. "I can't do this." I said in pain. "Yes, you can. I know you can do it babe." He said leaning over. "No, I can't." I whispered. "Don't ever say that. I know you can! Just imagine what our loved will be like with the new baby." He said smiling. "One more." I heard the doctor say in the background. "I love you." Zayn said before kissing my forehead. He held out his hand and I grabbed it. I pushed as hard as I could, until I heard that cry. The most beautiful sound to my ears. I look up at Zayn and smiled. He smiled back and leaned over. "Thank you." I whispered as the doctors brought our baby to us. "Sir would you like to hold you son?" He asked Zayn. "Yea sure." Zayn said as the doctor handed him our baby boy. Zayn smiled and looked up at me. I was so curious as to what our child would look like. He walked over to the side of the bed and sat down in the chair before handing our child to me.
