Never Looking Back

CHAPTER 9

Chapter 9:

The security guards surrounded us as we cross the street. The screaming fans see us and get louder and the paps come running pushing everyone out of the way. We get questions thrown at us like; are you and McKenna back together? Is this your daughter? What's her name? Is this going to ruin your career? Are you quitting? I was flushed.

There were many comments too, some good and some bad. I look over at Zayn and he was hiding Elle in his arms. The fans somehow get even louder and Elle starts screaming and crying. We finally get to the inside of the building.

"Are you okay?" Zayn asked me as I straightened up.

"Yea." I said walking over to him and Elle. She was crying into his chest. It hurt me seeing her cry.

"It's okay Elle." Zayn said calming her down.

To my surprise she actually stopped crying, normally when she's with me it takes forever. We enter the elevator where we go up to the 102nd floor.

"Are they mad at me?" I asked before we entered the room.

"No I don't think so." He said as we walked in. "

Hello!" Some guy in a suit said walking over to us.

"Please sit. Let me introduce my self. I'm Tom." He said smiling as we sat across from him.

"You know who I am." I said suspiciously.

"Haha yes I do." I look over at Zayn who somehow was able to put Elle to sleep.

"We are here to talk about you and your child." He said looking over at Elle.

"Your not taking her away from me are you?!" I said almost screaming.

"Oh no. And not from Zayn either. We were discussing your past relationship and your new one." He looked over at me.

"Okay. So you want me and Zayn to be in a relationship again?" I asked.

"Yes. But you guys have to move in together though. We want you out of your old house and into your new house by Monday." He said looking over at both of us. I look at Zayn and he nods.

"Okay then." Zayn said standing up.

I stand up also and we shake hands with Tom. Zayn decided to go home with Elle and I because she was clinging to Zayn and he didn't want to wake her up. We ate lunch and watched tv for awhile.

"Zayn. I think this relationship thing is going to work. You'll get to see Elle everyday and we'll be like a family." I said smiling.

"It will. You have no idea how happy I am to be back together with you." He said putting his arm around me.

"Yea. Zayn, I have like 2 days to pack!" I said jumping up.

"Calm down I'll help you."  

After Zayn left I started packing up some of my clothes. He came back though with about 50 boxes and then left to finish packing his things. Maybe this time we could have a happy ending...
