"She's gone? What do you mean she's gone? She was in the house a minute ago and then she is gone?" Jina questioned, more like demanded, and I could feel her anger bubbling to the surface. Jina had been on edge lately, I guess the absence of Jonghyun was making her frustrated.

I sighed in frustration myself, running my fingers through my hairs. I couldn't believe it myself. She was there this whole time, and just at the right minute, I lost her because she heard Jina somehow. But the crazy thing is, I didn't even sense her leaving.

"I told you. She got worked up because I confronted her and froze the whole room, and then I guess she heard the phone call and fled. I didn't even know she ran because of all the commotion." Sunmi reached out to me, patting my back but suddenly flinched as Sehul slammed his palm on the table of Jonghyun's office, his eyes blazing with fury. "Exactly what I'm asking! Why did you have to confront her!? What else did you want to know that she got so worked up!?"

Someone was being over dramatic.

Taemin sighed, before going to his friend's aid. "Guys, calm down. Letting your anger get the best of you isn't helping. At this rate we will all lose control and explode this house to pieaces. Let's clear this gently. Jisoo, there was a reason you confronted her didn't you? You are not the type to get on someone's nerves just because you want to."

I didn't reply for a long time, that only made everyone look at me, their gazes burning.

At long last, I sighed, looking up at the ceiling before starting. "Jugyoung is fading away, but she wouldn't tell why. Earlier at the party I noticed her hands turning invisible, and the temperature didn't drop because of the beasts, it was because the closer she gets to her end, the more her powers will malfunction. The beasts came from Hell, they wouldn't be made of ice. When I went to her room today, I saw the same thing, only this time her whole body was turning invisible, my guess is she was getting closer to her death, because SNSD are falling apart even more. But after what you said Jina, I think there's more to it."

Sehul scoffed bitterly, looking anywhere but at us. "So she was...dying...but she didn't tell. Why?"

"We don't know. Jina, what did you find?" Sunmi asked to which Jina begin her story. "Jugyoung is...not the girl we were looking for. That is her twin sister, Na Chunyoung, Na Jugyoung's sister. They were both abandoned after birth by their mother, leaving them to the care of their abusive father. But back then, he wasn't what he is now, he made a good living, cherished his daughter's, and raised them on his own. But by the time they came of age, he changed. According to him, he believed it was time they repaid him back for all he had done for them, and if they disobeyed, he would punish them. Chunyoung, being the elder for Jugyoung, decided to take the burden and agreed at first, considering it was nothing but just to lend him money as she did chores in the rich peoples houses, and he warned her not to get close with anyone. As months passed, his demands changed, until...money..wasn't what he wanted."
