"So I always wanted to go to law school,but my parents said that it would be awesome but that I wouldn't be as great as I would be if I was detective." I said rambling about my career and Job
"Right,so did you listen to them?" Peggy asked
"Yea, at first I did. I didn't think I could do it but even if I did do it I know I would've made a good lawyer... but being a detective and throwing the guilty in jail seemed more fun than having to defend the guilty." I said Turning to look at Peggy
"Well I think you are a fantastic detective" she said smiling and placing her hand in my knee
"Why thank you Peggy!" I said putting my hand over hers
"You're welcome..... hey are you doing anything tonight? There's this wonderful dance that is happening tonight and I would love if you went with me" she asked nervously
"Oh um, I would love to go! What time?" I said accepting her invitation
