"So honey how was school" my mom said as we ate dinner
"It was good, better than any other day" I asked hoping she'd asked why
"That's good! What happened?" She asked and I got excited
"well I was waiting for the right time to tell you but I made the soccer team and -" I said but got cut off by mom at the end
"THATS AMAZING SWEETIE!!! IM SO PROUD OF YOU!!!"She said making smile. And getting up and kissing my cheek.Then sitting back down
"Thank you mom!! I also I made the track team, passed all my exams, and here is the good part.....You know Michelle or Mj right?" I said and she nodded
"Well she asked me out on a date and obviously I said yess!" I said and looked at my mom who was smiling so big
"Geez y/n I am so proud and happy for you, you deserve all of this. You have been So strong and never gave up on anything even when things got hard! I'm proud of how far you come, you are gonna be amazing at whatever you do when you grow up hun" she said reaching over and hugging me
"thank you mom,you don't know how much this means to me. You being proud of me is the best feeling and that's all I ever wanna do is make you Proud" I said tearing up
"Aww baby of course, you are my daughter I'm always gonna be proud of your accomplishments." She said hugging me tighter
"Now tell me about this date you are going on with MJ" she said which caused me to blush at the thought of Mj
" well I don't know where she's taking me but i do know it's somewhere really nice" I said taking a bite of my food
"Exciting!" She said taking a sip of her Drink
"I know! I can't wait, hopefully I don't do or say something stupid to embarrass myself In front of her" I said getting nervous
"Don't worry you'll do fine don't worry about the negative Focus on on the positive,ok?" She said rubbing my shoulder
"I'll try" I said
"Now enough about me and my sexy boring life tell me about you and Steveeee" I said making her blush
"Oh hush you know nothing is going on between us" she said making me roll my eyes
"Oh really cause last night sounded like there was something going on" I said making her spit out her drink
"What? You heard that?"she asked slightly embarrassed
"Yes you guys are like horny dogs.... OH YES STEVE! RIGHT THERE STEVE! OOOOOOO YES FUCK-" I was cut off by her hitting me with her towel/napkin
"Enough! Now finish your diner so we can go back home and cuddle" she said laughing and slightly embarrassed
"Or just so you can get back in Steve's pants" I said making her hit me again
"Ow! Ok I won't make anymore sex jokes Geez!" I said rubbing my arm
"oh please I didn't hit you that hard!" She said
The rest of the night we talked and ate our dinner went home watched movies and cuddled.
I'm really lucky to have my mom, most people don't have a mom like mine so I don't take her for granted and I cherish every moment with her. She truly is my best friend!
