"where the hell have you been?" The agent says with a slightly raised voice.

You close the door behind you and take off your shoes and your coat before walking right past her into the kitchen completely ignoring your girlfriend of now one year.

"Oh no we're taking about this you're not going to ignore me" Emily said following behind you.

You had disappeared for three days, ignoring all of her calls and texts. The only reason she knew you weren't dead in a ditch somewhere or that you hadn't been kidnapped is because she had Garcia track your phone after a few hours of complete radio silence from you. She had recognized the area you were in and had once again left a voice mail practically begging you to come home.

"I've been worried sick about you and you can't even have the decency to look me in the eye and tell me where you've been?" Her tone was more serious now.

You put your phone and your wallet down on the counter and grabbed a glass from the cabinet and filled it with water before bringing it to your lips. Emily watched you as you drank the water and put down the glass in the sink, still not looking at her.

"Are you drinking again? Is that what this is about?" She asked desperately trying to get any sort of response out of you.

Finally you turned around and your eyes met hers. You saw the worry behind the layer of anger plastered over her face and you immediately felt bad about not coming home.

"God why would you think that?" You answered a bit pissed that her mind would even go there.

You had a drinking problem in the past before you had even started dating Emily but you had been sober for 2 years now and you were still doing well. Some days were harder than others but your girlfriend always helped distract you when you got urges to drink again and you had even attended AA meetings to help you stay clean.

"Well what am I supposed to think then? You completely fall off the face of the earth for three whole days, completely ignoring all of my text and calls. What the hell is up with you?!" She was almost yelling now.
