- That's not what I meant, Grumpy – they heard Jessie saying, the usual smile on her face, as they finally walked into the kitchen a little past noon. – What I meant was simply that you purebloods have more to adapt to whenever you find yourselves in muggle surroundings, no? And it usually is more overwhelming than magic is to us, as history shows. Especially nowadays, with technology developing faster and steeper.
- Girl's got a point, you know – they heard a boy's voice from the rear and, upon entering the room, located its source – Tyler, War of Elements' bassist, who was standing by the stove stirring something in a frying pan, half-turned towards the table so he could throw a look at the girls sitting there.
- Okay, okay, I misunderstood that part – Orianna proclaimed. – No arguing there. Oh, hey, birdies, nice of you to grace us with your presence – she added with a smile.
- Bite me, you look just as "fresh" – Daynen grinned and drew a chair for Hermione.
- Good morning. What did we miss? – the British girl asked, nodding to thank him, and looked at the others.
- Just some pros and cons regarding wizard versus muggle worlds – Jessie said. – There's still coffee and tea by the way. – And some toasts, probably still warm.
- Also, plenty of eggs with ham in a minute or two, it seems I've seriously overestimated myself this time – Tyler added.
- Thank you – Daynen muttered and poured two cups of tea for Hermione and himself, then shuffled around the cupboards a little before finding a jar of honey. – Has anyone seen James?
- Went for a stroll. Early bird that one, he was the first ready to work – Jessie pointed out finishing her waffle as she reached for another and the bottle of syrup next to Orianna.
- Good to have someone setting an example – Hermione pointed out with a tiny smile looking at each of her friends' sleepy faces.
- My, my, look at you, sister, finally loosening up enough to make fun of us – Orianna reached and gave her a pat on the shoulder, laughing. – Off to a great start!
- Mind your own breakfast, you – the British girl laughed.
- Morning, fellas – Chris entered the room, his expression as sleepy as Daynen's and Orianna's, his tongue barely turning to produce more than a few sounds, as he concealed a yawn.
- Ah, the last in line, pun intended – the blue-haired girl chuckled. – Morning.
- Yeah, can't remember when I actually fell asleep - passing by her, Chris jokingly reached for the steaming mug with impressive layer of creamy foam on top in front of her. – Seems like you don't need this, you look as fresh as a daisy...
- Touch my coffee and at the next Battle you'll have to handle the didgeridoo with your left hand only – the girl growled and showed her teeth as if she was about to bite his fingers off.
- Sheesh, okay, you caffeine demon – I hope you left some at least!
- Yyyeah, the didge is going to be the least of his problems in that one-handed picture – Tyler grinned while pouring some of the eggs in a plate.
- So funny, jerkface – Chris punched him in the shoulder and poured himself a big cup of coffee.
- Kiss my exquisite butt, sucker – the other boy added a fork and two toasts in his plate and took it. – Gonna eat outside, but I got a vocal idea for the challenge I wanna run by you, 'kay?
- Sure, sure, just let me open my eyes and locate my brains first.
- Just don't take forever, lazybum, Aaron's already looking at his watch.
