Calum grabbed my hand and pulled me out of my room eagerly. I giggled.
"What's the hurry?"
"I don't know when you're going to leave, so I want to be able to use every moment I have with you."
I smiled. It was so nice to be someone's first choice, and to have someone who genuinely wants to be with me. I think I was all wrong about Calum.
"That's so sweet Calum."
He tilted his head just a little so he looked slightly embarrassed. "Okay so I don't really have a car, so I hope you don't mind walking."
"Of course not." I said, and he instantly breathed a sigh of relief. "It'll be easier to talk to you."
He did his cute little puppy dog smile, and I couldn't help but to smile back.
I wasn't just making him feel better when I said it was a beautiful day outside. It's fall so all of the leaves look beautiful, different colors, but all still gorgeous.
He laced his long fingers in my fingers gently as we walked. For a while we walked in silence, but it was a comfortable one.
"I love the way your hair looks." He said.
I glanced at my average brown hair.
"I mean I love it every day, but especially today."
I kissed his cheek in appreciation of him being so darn cute. He rose an eyebrow in surprise.
"What was that for?"
I shrugged.
"Remind me to compliment you more often." He said with a small grin.
"Where are we going Hood?"
"To one of my favorite places."
I didn't ask him about it anymore. I love surprises.
After a few more minutes of walking and Calum swinging our arms we got to a little local coffee shop called Paula's
"Have you ever been here?" He asked, never taking his eyes off of me.
"Once or twice." I said.
"I love it here. I mean the food, drinks, and stuff is good an everything but it's always so quiet. There's this little room in the back with little lights on all of the walls that people hardly sit in, and I've always wanted to take you there."
I motioned playfully toward the shop with my hand. "Take me there."
I ordered some girly coffee that doesn't taste like coffee at all (which is the point I guess), and Calum of course insisted on paying for everything. As soon as they made my drink and got the biggest muffin I'd ever seen for Calum, he had my hand again, eager to show me his special room.
The little room in the back was small and comforting. Like Calum had said it had pretty lights all over that created a golden glow. It was small with only three tables, and thankfully we were the only ones back there.
"Does it give you the same feeling it gives me?" He asked.
"What feeling do you have?"
"Like I'm safe." And then he locked his deep eyes with my green ones. "And that I'm surrounded by something beautiful."
"Yes." I said, instantly agreeing with him.
We ending up sitting and talking about some of my favorite bands that he ended up liking too. He likes sum 41, blink 182, sleeping with sirens, my chemical romance, and all time low. Like seriously He is perfect.
After we walked back to my dorm , him telling me bad knock knock jokes the whole time, I knew that I was falling for Calum Hood.
I had learned so much about the boy who I thought was a player. He is just a misunderstood sweetheart.
We stopped at the door outside my room and he bent close to my face.
"Can I kiss you?" He asked, his voice rough.
I responded by pulling his soft full lips down to mine. He leaned down seeping the kiss and making my lips part slightly. I tangled my hands in his thick hair and he wrapped his strong hands around my waist. I gently tugged on his bottom lip with my teeth and he groaned. I pulled away with a shy smile.
"Goodnight Calum."
"Goodnight beautiful." He called back as I slipped inside.
"How did it go?" Asked Grace from her bed.
I sighed a hugged myself in happiness.
"That good?" She asked.
"That good."
