I strummed my fingers nervously against my leg while I waited on Calum. Why was I nervous, it's just Calum Hood.
"Are you okay Sades?" Asked my roommate, Grace.
I bit my lip. "I'm fine."
"Ugh, no you aren't, come on tell me what's on your mind."
One of the reasons she was one of my best friends is because she's always here to listen, and kill whoever hurts me.
"Okay, so you know Calum Hood."
She nodded. "Of course."
"He's been pestering me to go to dinner with him lately, and Grace, it's weird I know he's bad but he makes my heart flutter."
"So go for him."
"He's on his way over now."
She squealed. "Aweeee. Sadie and Calum sitting in a tree k- i- s- s- i- n- g. First comes love-"
A knock on the door caused her playful torture to stop. I quickly looked down at what a was wearing, a nervous blush creeping on my cheeks.
"Grace, do I look okay?"
"You always look great Sadie." Said Calum from outside the door. Grace giggled and I furiously blushed. I must have talked louder than I thought.
I swung opened the door to reveal Calum. He was wearing fitted black jeans, all black converse, and a loose white T-shirt.
"Hi." I said breathlessly.
He nodded at my roommate "Grace."
She nodded back completely serious. "I just wanted to let you know if you hurt Sadie I'll peel you like a potato."
He nodded in understanding, and kissed my cheek lightly.
"Watch it hood." I grumbled, but really I enjoyed his kiss.
