It wasn't like me to spontaneously ask a guy to hookup. I mean I'm not shaming anyone who does, you do you and whatever, but I usually go on at least a few dates first. Today though was very different.
As soon as I asked Luke if he wanted to hookup his eyes went wide. He checked me out and smirked, but still looked shy.
"We just met though." He said quietly.
"I know it's weird and I might not be the prettiest-"
"No." He said cutting me off. "You're the most beautiful girl I've seen on campus."
I smirked. "You're not bad yourself, Luke."
"Do you wanna see my apartment?" He asked quietly. I nodded.
Yes, I thought. This is exactly what I need to get my mind off Calum. I can't believe I actually thought he liked me, I can be such an idiot.
"Sadie." Said a voice from behind me.
It was Calum, his hair soaked with iced coffee, and the girl he was with trailing behind him.
"We need to go Luke." I said softly, but still urgent.
He saw Calum and nodded in understanding, before pulling me to a black BMW.
The girl Calum was with smirked. I get it, I thought, he chooses you.
Luke drove to an off campus apartment that was really pretty big for a college student.
"You're in college, right?"
He smiled like this was something he had to explain often.
"Yep, but my dads loaded." He said with a smirk.
I nodded.
"I'm sorry about that guy back there." I said running a hand through my hair.
"Calum Hood." He said with a nod. "I can't stand him, or how he treats lady's. He played my sister a while back. I guess I've never let it go."
"Yea." I said with a sigh. "I'm just so mad at myself for trusting him, even if it was just for a second."
"Don't be mad at yourself Sadie. It shows that you have a good heart since you trusted someone like him."
"It shows I'm stupid."
He playfully nodded and I laughed pushing his shoulder I lightly pushed back and before I knew it we were in a small shove war. I pushed a little too hard, missed, and fell on top of him.
Okay so this is awkward. Here I am with a hot stranger that found me crying in a car at his apartment.
"I'm about to do something really stupid." I said softly.
Then I was kissing Luke. He moved his hand to where they were cupping my cheeks and I kissed him harshly eager to taste more of him. He licked my bottom lip and I groaned. I tried to move where I was straddling him, with no success. We both went into a fit of giggles at my awkward state.
"Maybe we should go inside." He said, his voice deep and husky.
I nodded, and in one swift movement he had me off of him and out of the car. I sighed. Darn the strong handsome man.
We went inside and things got even more heated just as I was undoing his jeans he stopped me.
"Wait." He said. He sounded like he was in pain, and the bulge in his jeans made it obvious he wanted this as much as I did.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"I guess I'm just too much of a gentleman. I'd like to take you to dinner before we do this."
"Awe Luke that's sweet, but really it's not big deal."
"I'm a virgin." He said very quickly with his head down.
I looked him up and down my eyes wide. "No way." I said.
He nodded. "Yes way."
"That's bull Luke. There's no way you haven't done the do. I mean you're hot."
He blushed and shrugged. "The girls at my hometown didn't seem to think so."
I smiled. "You Luke Hemmings, are a gem."
He smiled. "Listen I have a lot of studying to do, and you can stay but it's going to be boring just so you know."
"Can you drive me back to my dorm?" I asked.
He nodded. The entire ride back we sang along to the somewhat annoying/ catchy pop songs on the radio. I sang quite badly, but he was really good.
"You should sing Luke."
He shook his head, blushing. "I'm too shy."
He walked to up to my room and planted a small kiss on my cheek.
"Dinner tomorrow?" He asked out of the blue. I nodded with a smile and gave him a small kiss before walking inside.
It wasn't until I laid down to go to bed, of course after I heard Grace talk about her fantastic date, that I thought of Calum Hood again. Somehow, even with now having Luke it hurt worse.
