"What?" You and the members ask, y'all's eyes widening in pure shock as y'all look at Wooyoung and Yeosang.
"Y'all are Soulmates." Wooyoung repeats, adding a bit of jazz hands as he smiles widely.
"Wait, wait, wait. Wooyoung, you told me you didn't know what a Soulmate was." Seonghwa says, narrowing his eyes as he sends a glare towards the younger.
"Well, you see... The reason I told you that is because it would ruin the chances of you having Y/N as your Soulmate." Wooyoung defends, smiling nervously as he rubs his nape.
"And The Head would send people here to attack us so we can't tell y'all anything, even if we wanted to." Yeosang adds.
"Alright... I have a lot of questions but first off, what is a Soulmate?" You ask, leaning your head against the wall in hopes of getting a little comfortable.
"A Soulmate is a couple who are destined to be with each other for eternity. Only 0.01% of people in the entire world are actually Soulmates and that takes of part of what makes them so rare." Wooyoung starts. "Now, having a Soulmate doesn't start when you meet a specific person, no, no, no. Soulmates, believe it or not, are signed together the second they're born. The information will be put on your birth certificate and only be your parents will know who your Soulmate will be."
"Also, Soulmates are determined by special genetics. Those genetics will help Soulmates know who their partner really is and when they'll find them." Yeosang adds, getting up off the floor and stretching his sore limbs. "On top of Soulmates being the rarest people in the world, they can earn special abilities which can help others and ultimately themselves. Those abilities can be connected within each pair so there's a significant chance that y'all can have similar abilities.
"The difference types of abilities are Invisibility, teleportation, time travel, animal shifting, flight, power to stop time and rewind it, power to see into the future, telekinesis, and a lot more. I know some of the names suck but they're working on it."
"Continuing, since Soulmates themselves are so rare, all sorts of people are trying to capture them and conduct all sorts experiments on them for quote on quote, 'Scientific research purposes,' in order to know who Soulmates really are and how they came to be. So, the two of you need to be very careful because if either one of you run into the wrong people, y'all can say goodbye to y'all's precious Soulmate signs."
"Soulmate signs?" Seonghwa asks, his eyebrows knitting together in confusion as he looks at the two boys in front of him.
"Oh right! Y'all's signs! Every pair of Soulmates has a special symbol that can connect y'all's Soulmate signs. They can be found on your wrists by the way." Wooyoung explains, a smile creeping onto his lips as he points to you and Seonghwa.
"If y'all put y'all's wrists together, Seonghwa's initials should be on Y/N's wrist, and Y/N's initials should be on Seonghwa's wrist. Me and Wooyoung saw it a few minutes ago but you two can go ahead and try it." Yeosang says, smiling softly as he seats himself down on the bed a few steps away.
After you and Seonghwa spare a few glances towards each other, y'all carefully place y'all's wrists next to each other; the pearly white lettering appearing again, allow y'all's initials to appear.
"Thats so cool~" You coo, scratching your skin a few times due to it feeling tingly.
"Fun fact... Soulmates actually have their own world that they can live in and it's not on Earth." Wooyoung says, bouncing on his heels a few times.
"I wanna go there!" Yunho blurts out, raising his hand eagerly.
"Sorry Pup, it's for Soulmates only." Yeosang says, chuckling slightly at the older's eagerness.
"I have a question." Seonghwa starts, bringing his knees up his chest as he leans against the wall behind him. "How do both of you know so much about Soulmates?"
"Uhhhhh..." Wooyoung and Yeosang look at each other, blinking rapidly as they try to figure out of way of responding to the unexpected question.
"Both of our parents were Soulmates and they taught us all about them." Yeosang replies nervously, earning a questioning gaze from you.
"Alright... I have a question!" You exclaim, brushing off your brother's statement for now. "When do we get these so called 'abilities?"
"No one really knows the answer to that. Everyone has different times of when they get them." Wooyoung replies, glancing over at Yeosang who's next to him.
"Another question." Seonghwa starts, smiling nervously before continuing."Do our signs go away or do they stay permanently?"
"Yes, they do go away. They went away a few minutes ago and y'all made then reappear by putting y'all wrists together." Yeosang replies, resting his head on the palm of his hand as his legs kick the air a few times.
"Is there anything else that we need to know? Like extra abilities and stuff?" You ask, leaning against Seonghwa's shoulder, subconsciously.
"Oh, yeah! I almost forgot. Since y'all are Soulmates, y'all can know when the other is lying." Wooyoung replies, a mischievous smile creeping onto his lips.
"It's like a lie detector. Say when one of you fibs, both of you will get a spark in y'all's wrists." Yeosang adds.
"Also, y'all can hear each other's thoughts, communicate through y'all's minds, emotions can reflect on y'all's signs like when one is feeling sad, both of y'all's signs will turn blue, when one is mad, they turn red and so on, y'all can hear each other in your heads, and a lot more really. The things the two of you can do are endless."
"There's a few more stuff but they deal with the Soulmate genetics and I don't wanna freak y'all out so we'll save that talk for another day." Yeosang adds rather quickly, before bringing himself together and looking and you and Seonghwa. "Any other questions?"
"Can we go to The Soulmate World?" You ask, your eyes shimmering as excitement builds up in you.
"When y'all get y'all's abilities and meet The Head of The Soulmate World, yes." Wooyoung replies, nodding his head slightly.
"I'm guessing The Head of Soulmates is the president?" Seonghwa asks, his eyebrows raising slightly.
"Yes. And she can be very scary when she wants to be." Yeosang replies, rubbing his nape as his gaze shifts down to the floor.
"Anything else?" Wooyoung asks, flashing a quick smile as he shifts his gaze over to the two of you.
"When they're hurt..." Yeosang mumbles, leaning in close to the younger.
"Oh, right! When one gets hurt, the other can feel it as well." Wooyoung exclaims, with a smile.
"And y'all's signs can act like metal detectors. It can come in handy when y'all play hide and seek. I know by experi- OW!" Yeosang yelps, glaring over to Wooyoung who smacked him on the back of the head.
"What was that, Yeosang?" You ask, tilting your head to the side as you send the older a suspicious gaze.
"Nothing!" Yeosang blurts out, smiling nervously as he rubs the back of his head.
"Anymore questions?" Wooyoung asks, turning back to gaze you and Seonghwa. After the both of you shake your heads. Wooyoung pulls Yeosang off the bed. "Okay, perfect! You two have fun! I need to borrow Yeosang for a second." As Wooyoung drags Yeosang out of the bedroom and into a different room, the older stumbles messily behind him.
"Wait, the shape!" Seonghwa exclaims.
"WOOYOUNG!!! YEOSANG!!!" You exclaim, your eyes shutting as you yell loud enough for the two boys to hear.
"Yes?" Wooyoung replies, popping his head back into the bedroom.
"When does the shape that connects our signs appear?" You ask.
"Y'all have to put y'all's wrists together and hold them like that for at least 30 minutes. They should appear by then. Now, goodbye." Wooyoung replies, smiling at you softly before turning around and running after Yeosang. "SANG, GET YOUR BUTT BACK HERE!"
"NO RUNNING!!" Hongjoong exclaims, his eyes rolling as his call goes of deaf ears.
