Zim kept working on the roboparents till the evening came closer. This time, he took it into his own hands and let them watch the programmes all over again, without Gir's constant distractions. The irken told him to find something else to play with, ordering him to leave the base.
In the living room, the TV showed the same program. Since they are attached to another, he cannot change the channels. Frustrated, Gir made waffles, cakes, pancakes, cupcakes and so on. He hates it to miss the monkey show. Close to get a robo breakdown, like always gets when Zim refuses his wishes, someone knocked on the door. With his master downstairs, he got into his dog suit and looks at the visitors. Two tall humans looked down on the little dog.
"Where is the child?"
Gir didn't respond, instead, he ran towards the toilet and down the base to his master. Zim sighted at his robot, "What is it now Gir?"
"Humans at the door"
"What?!" he checked them from his screen, "Who are they?"
"I don't know"
"Gir, keep an eye on the robots"
"Oki doki" slowly reaching for the remote control.
"Change it just once and I will rip you apart!"
"Awwww, I want my showwwww" his hand left the device on its place.
Zim had other things to deal with, putting on his disguise, "What are you doing in my house?"
The two tall humans were looking through the living room, checking every corner of the area. The woman in her dark suit, stepped towards the green boy, "Who are you?"
"I am Zim, I live here!" annoyed by them already, she didn't seem to care.
As she asked of where his parents are, got him tense, "They are here"
"Are they?"
He nodded quickly, "Okay, I want to see them...now."
"Sure...why not?" Afraid that his cover gets blown, he ran back down to the base. Gir looked confused as he tired to rip the roboparents off their seats, "Come on, let them go!"
"I thought they have to watch this"
"No time Gir, these humans want to see my parents"
"Wohooo" happily the dog changed the channel rather quickly, forgetting his master completely.
Upstairs, the poor irken shivered under the gaze of the humans, as they began to ask him and his parents all sorts of questions. From when they moved her, how the family life is and so on. Even his skin condition was one, which Zim had to come up with a convincing excuse, "Ehm...I...was born with it."
"And none of your parents looks green"
"It ruins in the family...my...aunt got it"
"Is that so?" the woman looked sceptical, as Zim began to sweat at her hard stare.
"What do you want from me?" he asked rather quiet, not feeling well by all these questions.
"This is a regular thing, nothing to be worried about...at least...not for now. We shall see you in school"
Unsure of what was going on, they just left him alone. Something wasn't right. Zim got off the sofa, feeling a little wobbly on his feet. His robo parents showed good communications skills without hurting the humans. But they still have a few problems to talk and answer questions properly. He got one hour left to repair the robots.
I waited with Gaz, Dib and his Father in a flying screen to start this horrible event. It was agonising and dull. The food is bad, the conversations closer to death than dying of boredom and Ms. Bitters talking down on every single parent she seen. All except Zim and his company. They arrived later, gaining all the attention of the room for a few minutes. The irken introduced his parents to his teacher, before leaving them alone for a minute. He had someone to greet first.
"Hello tall human girl!"
Yep, he meant me, "Hello eh..."
"Zim"
"Yes, Zim. Hello, how are you?"
Dib watched the alien close, making sure not to touch me. The tall humans that came to the irken's house was also there. Zim got tense, as they inspected the robots once more. He left me there alone, making sure that everything goes well. Unfortunately, he didn't plan Dib into this. He kicked the robots to make them loose balance and then rip them their clothes off. Terrified by this move, Zim feared the worst by the tall humans. And he should be, they weren't happy.
I wasn't sure of what is going on, but to see Dib act like that was uncalled for.
The tall humans got dangerously close to Zim, "We get you home now. There you pack your bags and come with us."
"I am not leaving...I AM ZIM!!!!!!!!! No one orders me around!"
The woman sighted, "He must have been alone for too long" She just grabbed the green boy's hand and pulled him out of school. With him screaming the whole time, I looked at Dib, "Who are these people?"
"Oh, don't worry, they just take good care of Zim"
"That doesn't answer my question"
Dib chuckled, "They are from child services. He has no parents, so they take him to the orphanage." The boy knows from research, that this place won't keep him alone, they will watch Zim around the clock. Unlike him, I as not pleased hearing the green boy scream and beg to lave him alone. Gaz finds it annoying leaving the room along with her father. Dib seems to be the only one pleased what happened. But as he noticed my sad expression, he lost all happiness in his face, "Hey Y/N, is something wrong?"
"Wrong with me, what is wrong with you? How could you do this to Zim?"
"But he had no one, he lived alone in that house"
"That was not your job to call the child services. I am very disappointed with you"
At Zim's place, he had to pack his small bag with his belongings. Mainly stuff that Gir needed, as he had all in his PAK, but the humans don't know that. He thought that this was an absolute nightmare, and it didn't stop there. The other tall human took his dog and pushed him into a box, "And that one goes to the animal shelter."
He had no choice but to obey, looking helpless from the outside. But inside, he was boiling with rage, knowing who is responsible for this. I don't want to be in Dib's shoes when Zim gets serious.
